Beach to Bulgogi House | Daily

Life has a way of draining you, even on days when you’re suppose to relax. Sometimes I worry too much about work and my future that it just stresses me out and kills my day. So, I decided after work that I would go straight to the beach and try to catch a sunset. Just letting go my frustrations and let it end with a sunset. I also like vaping here using my Geek Bar—it’s become a small comfort I really enjoy. Shop the Geek Bar Pulse X here to bring a little calm into your own moments. You may explore unique vape juice flavors like geek bar meta moon flavor to further enhance your vaping experience.

Still a bit new to this light painting technique, so I haven’t figured out how to properly light up a car.

I live for these nights when we would all congregate in the Tastea parking lot, talking shit, sippin on boba and updating each other on our lives. Now that I typed that out, seems like a really girly thing to do. Anyways, I actually really enjoy these nights especially when the cars are brought out from the their dusty garages.

Formula Drift | Long Beach 2015

Formula Drift Long Beach has always been the show season opener for us and we’re usually on the show side of the Fire Stone bridge, but this year we decided to be in the vendor village and try to really stand out. What we didn’t expect was how much work it is to be a vendor. We use to think dropping off our cars the night before for the show was a hassle already, but now we had to set things up on Thursday and work the booth from Friday to Saturday, 9AM – 6PM. Even with all of this adversity, we still managed to pull it off with the help of everyone in the team and friends who came by to support us and some even worked our booth when we got tired. Well now that I got all of that information out of the way, let’s begin the coverage with our setup on Thursday.

    036

Gabe’s S13 which was flossing at the In4mation booth.

    037

    052

    Hard wired face.

    053

Ridiculously low and ready for some drifting.

    048

    038

    Chrome wrapped Liberty Walk M4.

    040

    041

    Drift ready 45 on Varrstoens.

    043

    045

    055

Nice livery on this E36 with some sick Rotiforms.

    057

    063

    065

    066

    059

Hardcore Tokyo brought our some hardcore Japanese inspired drift cars.

    060

Car Modify Wonder S13 looks incredibly clean on some Advan GT wheels.

    061

Z-Project is killing it with the fender to meaty tire fitment. Definitely a style that we’re not use to seeing over here in the states.

    062

Another S13, but this time in coupe form with a Car Modify Wonder body kit.

    067

And then there was our booth with Kevin’s bagged S2000 on Avant Garde wheels. These wheels are for sale by the way, just email us at royalorigin@royal-origin.com for more info!

    069

After setting up our booth, we decided to head out to Smoqued BBQ in Orange for some lunch. We got some fried guacamole sticks for appetizers and the BBQ pulled pork mac and cheese.

    073

    Remember to share this!

    075

    076

Later, I hit up the AW Stickers crew to set up our selling board for tomorrow. Excellent sticker placement by Abbitt and Henry! Made Abbitt work on his birthday haha!

    079

The next morning we woke up early to drop off more things for our booth and spotted this clean NSX.

    082

I only see this GS once a year and it’s always at Formula Drift.

    084

I actually see this car twice a year and that’s at both Formula Drift events in California.

    085

It was recently Vinh’s birthday, so we got him two of his favorite things in the world combined into one. Dick shaped sweets.

    088

Friday, our booth was looking a bit fuller with both of our booth cars out.

    094

The GTR wasn’t exactly ready to be displayed yet, so it was under wraps for Friday. It was extremely annoying when people were lifting up the cover. People have no fucking respect.

    095

After the show, Ryan and Jason came to work a little bit on the GTR and we finally got to see the unveiling.

    097

First time seeing a black Liberty Walk GTR without all of the glitz and glam. Usually we see Liberty Walk GTRs with crazy liveries or crazy wheels, but seeing one that looks so simple had us feeling some type of way.

Living in southern California where there is always something going on in the car scene and sometimes there are multiple events going on the same day such as Formula Drift Tech Day and XS Car Nights. Waking up to the cold brisk air of Washington was something unfamiliar. The air was so crisp and I woke up freezing my ass of because I didn’t know there were extra blankets under my bed. Besides the near hypothermia incident, today was going to be a day filled with exploring the city and stopping by some local shops.

What the Milpitas boys have been wanting to do the whole trip was to visit a recreational clinic, so we stopped by the local Kush Mart. I didn’t bring my camera in because I wasn’t sure what the rules were, but it was like going into buy some alcohol or candy.

The Big Day | Enjoy Sin

The big day was here, all the planning we’ve been doing for the past three months has led to this day. Even if the event wasn’t going to be successful, we were just happy to reunite with our friends in Vegas. It’s been a long time since those days we use to take turns on who visited who each weekend and that was the honeymoon stage of our friendship. Even though the honeymoon phase is over, we still have mad love for each other.

    842

We spent most of the morning getting over our hangovers and trying to get a quick power nap before the meet. That is why we like our car meets late in the afternoon. Check out the crew in all black everything, Jeff didn’t get the memo.

    844

    847

The Lowballers posted up in front of HNRS store.

    854

Miguel brought out the eye sore of a car his minty wide body M35.

    855

Vinh and his new bae Sara laughing about their Starbucks drinks.

    859

Lance brought out his newly acquired NSX on TE37s.

Sparkle caught me trying out the Lowballer’s drift cart.

Aron, the newest member of Royal Origin. He’s always been a nice guy and let’s us get it in whenever we want, so it was a no brainer when adding him.

This time of the year is always the time where I stress the most and have the craziest anxiety attacks. This year however has been the least stressed for me with so much help this year, this meet went smoothly without me having to stress too much. Thank you to Kevin and HNRS for planning this collab, Shavi for working everything, VU with the coverage and giving us amazing IG videos, Nimo for taking care of us and giving us fun moments, Aron for all of the help, I notice all the small things you do for us and I’m truly grateful for it. Hayle and Sara for being our spokes models for the event, Jay and LV Racing for help with promotion and getting us a food truck, the Lowballers for always supporting our meets, JDM CHEMICALS, AVANT GARDE WHEELS, ILOVERACING, AWSTICKERS, LEXON, AIR RUNNER SYSTEMS, KYOEI, 714 TIRES for sponsoring the event, Becky for reassuring me when I did have a small anxiety attack, everyone in Royal Origin and their girlfriends who made this trip the best time of my life and most importantly everyone who supported us and came to the meet. A very important thing to check before a long road trip is your alignment and tire wear. Thankfully, we have the good guys over at 714 Tires to help us prepare our cars for the long trip to Las Vegas. They are one of the few shops in Southern California that work on slammed cars.
