Karuma Vs Lowballers Round III | Event Coverage

Feels like I’ve been here before, a Friday morning meet up to cruise to Vegas for a car meet, but this time with different faces. It’s been two years since I have given any effort to get back into the car scene and after a depression phase I really want to get back out there and hang with friends that I haven’t seen. The Karuma x Lowballers meet seemed like the perfect event for it and cruising with the homies to Vegas just brought back some nostalgia.

Like I always do, try to get some nice rollers of my friend’s cars. This is Kekoa’s xB rolling slammed on the 15. @alowha_kekoa

We stopped at a McDonalds to wait for Kekoa and ended up seeing a bunch of cool cars.

We asked where they were going and they were also going to Vegas for the Karuma x Lowballers meet.

We ended up going to In-N-Out to fix Kekoa’s air problem. Cuong’s E30, Kekoa’s xB, my GR86 and David’s FJ Cruiser. Oh yeah I bought a GR86.

Our Favorites at Wekfest Nagoya 2019 | Event Coverage

Some of our favorites at Wekfest Nagoya 2019..

I’ve been following Seji’s S14 for the longest time ever since Big Country Labs posted his car on their Instagram. This S14 is ridiculous in every way from the wide body to the gigantic Big Country Lab wing and it’s static!

On the other side of the spectrum we have Masaki’s super clean S13. He perfected the clean body look for years now and has keep his car in such pristine condition!

You can’t even tell this sticker is like 6 years old.

Flashy is an understatement for this FD. The gold chrome wrap with the RE-Amemiya kit steals your attention from all the other cars around it.

I rarely see any TL wagons in the states, so seeing this one slammed on wheels caught my attention right away.

Japan just knows how to build 240s. It’s really amazing.

That shift knob is sick, uncomfortable but sick.

Nissan R32 on TE37s with a toy replica. So sick.

This Lotus Espirit is so cool, those formula mesh wheels pair really well with the old school theme. There’s an Espirit for sale near me, I kinda want it now..

No function, all style with this AE-86. Still looks awesome!

My favorites at the show was this line up of FDs with super awesome liviries.

Hiroki’s NSX is so nice from Level One Japan, I believe he won an award too!

Seji’s and this S14 are what kids in America are trying to make their shit boxes into.

Closing it with Yasu’s S2000 it is a subtle execution, but this car so many crazy parts!

My blogging game has been weak, so sorry for the lack of updates! I’ll try to put this as a priority…

Eibach / NWP Reboot Meet | Event Coverage

Within the Honda community there have been a few recognizable Honda specific groups, with such being NWP aka NWP4Life. NWP started as a close group of local Honda enthusiasts, who hang out at North Wood Pizza (where the name comes from) and grew from there to have a strong Honda specific forum, which is where the internet came together to share tasteful Honda platforms. And so through the years and years of being around they decided to throw a reboot meet at Eibach Springs, which welcomed all makes and models, but of course hella Honda platforms.

Got the chance to tour the Eibach Springs Headquarters in Corona, California; which showed the process of transforming the raw materials into springs, coilovers, sway bars, spacers, and everything in between. Definitely an awesome experience and tour.

Late Evolution | Video

Two years ago my friend Jordan was trading his Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X for Keith’s Lexus IS300, and he wanted to capture his long time love before giving it away. It took me awhile to finish the video because of other side projects and some laziness. So, fast forward to the present day, where I have finally finished putting the video together, Jordan doesn’t have the IS300 anymore, and Keith still has the Evo X.

Here is the video captured two years ago when Jordan was still in possession. Enjoy.

Boden Bash 2016 | Event Coverage

Boden AutoHaus a premium air suspension specialist shop in Costa Mesa, California put together a car meet that had a cars and coffee type vibe with a good variety of makes/models coming together to share their Saturday morning together. These are the cars that caught my eye.

Matt’s GS400 equipped with 326power and Black Magician kit on SSR Professor SP1.

After Boden Bash 2016, we head up to 714 Tires to meet up with John to hangout while he gets an alignment since we were getting lunch together after that.

Greddy Pandem E36 | Wekfest Prep

Kevin recently collaborated with his parent company Greddy on his latest project BMW E36. The last build was the red Honda S2000 that we posted here often. The E36 will demonstrate the latest Greddy Performance products that are offered in the automotive market with the finalization of the build at SEMA 2016 in November.

You can always spot these Rocket Bunny Lexus pair at the Greddy Headquarters in Irvine, California.

Formula Drift driver Ken Gushi’s Scion Racing Greddy Racing FRS.

New Toyota Racing livery, which was first demonstrated at NASCAR in Sonoma, Washington.

The heart of Ken Gushi’s FRS is this Greddy powered 2JZ-GTE.

The raw Rocket Bunny Pandem BMW E36 parts ready to be fitted on Kevin’s car.

Enkei 6666 wheels. The standard for Rocket Bunny Pandem built E36s.

Kevin fine tuning the fitment of the kit to the car before cutting and paint.

Spotted a beautiful R32. Pretty common place now in SoCal.

Another day at Greddy HQ, and this time spotted one of two LC500, which is coming from concept to reality.

Looks good from the front, but the rear is quite questionable. Its here at Greddy HQ for some research and development since Greddy has a good relationship with Lexus.

Limited edition Takata x Rocket Bunny street reclinable seats going into Kevin’s E36 build.

The Sung Kang x Greddy Racing collaborated 1973 Nissan 240z also makes it home inside the Greddy HQ.

The results of building this in about a month or so, which is pretty incredible. Ready for its first show case at Wekfest San Jose.

Truly love how the Rocket Bunny Pandem kit extenuates all the lines that were already standard to the E36 platform.

Looks good at all angles.

Vertex Racing steering wheel looks at home in there.

Good job to Kevin for working on this build in such a short amount of time. Many late nights went into this, and there are many more nights to come, especially with the next phase of the build being a 2JZ-GTE build. Also, congratulations for getting 2nd place best BMW at Wekfest San Jose 2016.
