    The Learning Process

One of the parts of photography I always wanted to get into was portrait photography. I’ve always loved getting candid moments of my friends, but never really got into staged photo shoots. Recently, on Instagram my friend from high school who has an awesome like mine posted some pretty neat photos she took of some models. I hit her up for some guidance and she was happy to show me the ropes by having me do a photo shoot of herself.

    001

We walked up a pretty empty parking garage and she just turned around and said,  “start”. Boom we were already shooting, haha.

    003

Minh had all of the poses on point.

    038

I wasn’t sure what kind of feel I was going for with this shoot, so I kinda just messed around with some editing. Minh advised me that I should do a bit research and put together a sample look book and setting that I want before the shoot.

    047

I was pretty impressed with Minh’s model face and swagger when she was modeling, she told me simply that she had a natural “bitch” face.

    115

I actually like this face better.

    123 (2)

This one is my favorite, smiles make the world go round.

    120

Back to learning, I’m going to stop talking gibberish now and just let you enjoy the photos.

    Reunited

One of the funnest nights I’ve had in a long time. Chris Foreman and Neel coincidentally were going to be back home for a weekend. We decided to throw a little get together for them at the usual stomping grounds Tastea, Wesminster.

    002

Steven brought out the LS430 to kick it.

  • Stance Nation & Showoff Nisei Edition 2014

Stance Nation & Showoff Nisei Edition 2014

There’s only one day of the year where people are willing to hang out in a parking lot all day in the middle of a Los Angeles summer drought and that’s Nisei week in Little Tokyo. Nisei week includes a variety of fun activities like a martial arts gathering to a ramen festival.  Oh yeah, there’s also a car show that’s in collaboration with Stance Nation and a ton of cool cars usually come out. This year Jay, Keith and I decided to make a day trip out of it and instead of attending the show all day, we ventured around Little Tokyo for street food, ramen, sushi and watched some guy try to perform the song “Latch” on his shamisen(Japanese guitar).  The show ends around 7:00 PM, so we thought the prime time to enter the show would be around 6:00 PM and hopefully by then the sun would be down and it’d be easier to shoot the cars without shadows getting in the way.

    007

Still pretty bright out and most of the cars had awkward shadows.009

    019

Derek’s super slammed RX-8. Derek was recently in a serious motorcycle accident, glad to know that he’s okay. His accident is a sobering reminder of how unpredictable the road can be. One second you’re enjoying the ride, and the next, everything changes. It’s not just motorcyclists—pedestrians, cyclists, and even children are vulnerable to the dangers of reckless or distracted driving. Thankfully, proper insurance coverage can help ease unexpected legal costs, allowing victims to focus on recovery instead of financial stress.

When tragedy strikes, navigating the aftermath can be overwhelming, especially for families dealing with the unthinkable. That’s why having the right legal support is crucial. Las Cruces attorneys can help families understand their rights and take the necessary legal steps after an accident. Whether it’s ensuring medical bills are covered, seeking justice for a loved one, or simply getting guidance on what to do next, having experienced professionals on your side makes all the difference.

No one ever expects to be in an accident, but when it happens, the impact extends far beyond the immediate injuries. Recovery can be a long and grueling process, both physically and emotionally, with mounting medical expenses and time away from work only adding to the stress. In such moments, having the right support system—friends, family, and experienced legal professionals—can make all the difference. A trusted Law Firm Florida can provide the guidance needed to navigate the complex legal landscape, ensuring victims and their families get the compensation and justice they deserve.

Beyond the legal side of things, accidents serve as a harsh reminder of how critical road awareness truly is. Whether behind the wheel, on two wheels, or simply walking down the street, everyone has a role in making the roads safer. A single moment of distraction can change lives forever, and it’s up to all of us to drive responsibly, stay alert, and look out for one another.

In the aftermath of an accident, understanding your rights and options is crucial to moving forward. Injury law provides a path for victims to seek the compensation they need to cover medical bills, lost wages, and the pain and suffering caused by the incident. With the help of skilled attorneys, victims can navigate the often-confusing legal process and ensure they don’t miss out on the justice they deserve. A reputable Orange County Car Accidents law firm can offer valuable insights, guiding families through every step and fighting for their rightful compensation, so they can focus on what matters most—recovery.

Still, even the clearest path can feel like a maze when emotions run high and insurance companies start playing hardball. It’s during these moments that the right legal team isn’t just helpful—they’re vital. A steady hand, a sharp mind, and a relentless drive to protect your interests can mean the difference between a drawn-out struggle and a resolution that honors your suffering and sets you on the road to healing.

Choosing the right accident lawyer isn’t just about finding someone with a license—it’s about finding someone who truly understands what’s at stake. After all, you’re not just fighting for a paycheck; you’re fighting for your health, your future, and your peace of mind. That’s where firms like Gammill Law step in, offering more than just textbook legal advice. They bring a human touch to the table, treating each case with the care and urgency it deserves. When you’re picking up the pieces after an accident, having someone who knows the battle ahead—and is ready to face it with you—can change everything.

Frozen Bar x Royal Origin Meet

Last Tuesday, we threw a meet in collaboration with the new dessert shop Frozen Bar in Garden Grove.  We planned a car meet here a couple of years back and it got way too crowded that we had to relocate twice. End this with Hayle, Nimo and Vu posing for their new albumin cover. The Jufran 3.

Thanks everyone for coming to the meet and getting ice cream! We’re going to try to do this every month and hopefully we don’t burn this spot. As always, more photos in the gallery.

    Neel’s LS400

Spent the day in down town LA, we planned to do a photo shoot of Neel’s LS400 before he leaves us to Las Vegas for work. We had a pretty good team with Vu, Shavi and Nimo doing video work and Rocky and I shooting photos.  The main photographer was Rocky, I was just hanging out and trying to do some behind the scenes photos.

Our next location was another famous location, but I guess there was a movie being filmed, so it was closed off with police surrounding the area. We decided to just find an empty parking structure to shoot.

    680

The lighting was a bit hard to work with, but we had a bunch of fun light painting which none of my photos show. I was the one holding a piece of cardboard to cover the lights when they were light painting.

Derek swung by my work at JDM Chemicals to get a little detail on his car. His car as some of you know is vinyl wrapped so my co worker Jason suggested to use our Quick Rinse Soap which is a very light soap that doesn’t take off wax. It’s perfect for vinyl because it won’t make the color of the vinyl fade quicker.

Another evening of hanging out at our usual stomping grounds, Illest OC had a series of events over the weekend to celebrate their 1 year anniversary. Unfortunately, we were only able to go to 2/4 events and this was the only one we actually took photos.
