    Caravan Things | Event Coverage

The best part of our trip to Vegas is the drive to Vegas. There’s no better feeling than to be cruising with your homies in their slammed cars, trying to race each other and avoiding getting pulled over by the cops. We met up at our usual spot at the In-N-Out in Hesperia, I’m not even sure why we meet here because In-N-Out doesn’t even open until 10:30 AM.

Jaycray pulled up with his sick Pandem RC on the new Work Meister.

Met up with the rest of the homies at the In-N-Out.

I swapped out the Scaras for the Work Meisters.

Frank’s super clean Miata on Weds Bazerias.

    Adry’s widebody IS, Taylor’s LS400 and Rodney’s Cressida.

We made it to our first destination, M Resort for our annual trip to the Studio Buffet.

A mini car meet in the parking lot.

We had a quick fooseball tournament at the hosue and found out Rodney is secret professional.

We went on a off-roading adventure with Vince, Chivas and Aaron. #ROOffRoad

Randomly found a donkey at a gas station.

Chivas lead us to an eerie abandoned house and now I have trouble sleeping.

The next adventure was a spot where you could get a great view of the strip.

    Good night Vince!

Angelo said,  “Get out of the house and get some sleep for the meet tomorrow!” Coverage of the meet coming real soon.

Ex36 Gang | Royal Origin Members

I started the day with a surprise text from Aron aka Qsand aka “you done fucked up A-aron” from Vegas. He said he was in town for work training and wanted to get some lunch. He also said he would treat me out since he knows I’m unemployed. So being me, I picked the most expensive thing that I was craving. A non-all you can eat KBBQ spot in Irvine called Honey Pig.

The best thing about Honey Pig is the the cooked kimchi and bean sprouts. Look at all of this magical free glory…

We were by Greddy and I know Kevin basically works 24/7, so we stopped by to see what he was up to.

Turns out they were getting ready for a E36 video shoot with his Pandem E36 and Marq’s recently finished E36.

Kevin also just recently picked up a EG to build for race car things. So nostalgic.

    So wide…

It was hard to get some decent rollers since I was just a behind the scenes camera and I didn’t want to get in Vu’s way since he’s the one making a video.

Marq’s bagged E36. Marq is moving to New York in a couple of months for work. Good luck with your new life, deadass b!

Some of my favorite shots from the day. Kevin’s car had some trouble on the way to the next location, so on the way back I got to sneak in some rollers of Marq’s E36 during golden hour.

We ended up finishing the shoot inside Greddy’s garage.

Fun fact, both of these cars were owned by Marq at one point. Obviously it wasn’t as cool like it is now..

Vu putting in work. I can’t wait to see what he has cooking for this video!

Check out our revamped shop and we added a mystery box with great value!

  • The NSX of Our Dreams | Car Feature

The NSX of Our Dreams | Car Feature

The other week, we saw John at the Eibach Throwback meet and he was telling us no one has shot his NSX yet and it’s going to be shipped to Boston to the new owner next week. I’m extremely surprised no one has gone out to shoot John’s crazy NSX before. This thing looks like a monster waiting to rip your head off. Good thing I’m unemployed because I was able to plan a shoot with John right away.

We met up in the mountains of Moreno Valley for some scenic shoots. The NSX looks and sounds like a beast!

Yo dawg! I heard you like vents, so we put vents on your hood, fender and in your ear, so you can vent to me about your daily problems.

    That diffuser is insane!

Thank God for the over cast, it made for better photos.

I think I’ve decided to make this one of my goals in life. I will own a NSX.

The Work Meisters look perfect on the NSX.

It’s been a while since I’ve taken rolling shots, so excuse the bad photography.

John’s NSX made up for my bad photography.

This car is such a head turner that everyone at the gas station was breaking their necks and taking photos.

Thanks John for giving me the opportunity to shoot your car! I hope the photos are good! Also to the person who owns the NSX now, you are one lucky guy. Please take care of her.

  • SEMA DAY 3 | Event Coverage

SEMA DAY 3 | Event Coverage

The last day of SEMA is usually the best because there are less people and you get to see the parade of cars in the roll out. Cars look the best when they are in motion. We woke up early to go to the AG Wheels hotel party at MGM, just so Ryo could pick up some center caps.

Turns out they left the night before and we went to MGM for no reason, at least we got some cool escalator photos.

Got back to SEMA to watch some roadsters give some people ride alongs.

They even had a truck doing jumps on ramp.

Would love to see Lee from 714 Tires do this to his Ferrari.

Red is always best for Ferrari.

Hummer: We designed a car that would be the get the least amount of MPG.

Person who owns this car: Hold my beer.

I don’t even know what car this is, but I want it.

Japanese widebody in the U.S.A featuring this Pandem Cayman and Old&New 911.

    Powered by rich people’s dreams.

Another look at Ark Performance’s Danza.

Man this car looks so buff.. I wonder why?

    It’s because Erick built it..

This Corvette sounded beast leaving the hall.

    Hertlife’s FC is fire.

Speaking of fire, make sure you swing by Babystacks Cafe for some fire food. This concludes our late as hell coverage of SEMA. Check back in two years for 2018’s coverage.

  • SEMA Day 2 | Event Coverage

SEMA Day 2 | Event Coverage

Part two of my ever so late SEMA coverage. Woke up to a haiwan breakfast by Meilani and got picked up by Chivas to head to SEMA. The best friends are those who cook for you and drive you places when you don’t have money or a car.

Chivas dropped me and Ryo off on the back side of SEMA and found these gems that I wouldn’t normally see if I didn’t get left here.

The older I get the more I find these Civic hatches more appealing. Weird.

I mean the new NSX is cool and all, but it feels unattainable..

Still the NSX is really cool to look at.

VVarrris  Varis FRS on Volkey TE37 is perfection.

No detail is spared for this Pandem FD. Amazing build.

Our friends over at Greddy built this cool Pandem Golf MK7 on Volk TE37s for Remark. Going to be seeing this car at the track alot driven by Scott Speed.

The new 2018 Civic coupe that they built for SEMA looks awesome. Simple and clean on CE28s.

These gauges are so cool. I need some in my life.

The only car I was actually looking for was the T-Demand LC500 built by Central Pine USA. Man this thing left me speechless and I actually walked around and learned a little about the details of the car.

Parked next to the LC500 was the T-Demand GS that was debut here at SEMA last year.

The owner of T-Demand showing Hiro from Stance magazine, how the quick the air suspension responds.

Our friends over at Ark Performance built this kit car that everyone was so curious about.  It’s like a Chex Mix of cars, they call it the Danza. Pretty sure Danza means Chex Mix in Korean.

Seeing the Junction Produce Rolls Royce in person was amazing. Too bad it wasn’t on the famed Scara wheels. I used to masterbate to the advertisement of this car in VIP Style Car Mag.

Check out part 3, next time I decided to get my life in order.

  • TEXAS BBQ WORLD TOUR | RO Explore

TEXAS BBQ WORLD TOUR | RO Explore

Lately, as a group we developed a taste for American BBQ brisket. We’ve been going all over LA-OC looking for the best brisket, but everytime we go with Krstina she says it doesn’t compare to Houston. So, we decided to pack our bags and head to Houston for a Texas BBQ World Tour.

The day before, my co worker T let me have his Integra project. Me and John are going to build it strictly for track use because we’re too broke to register it. Shout out to Kenneth for helping us tow it home!

Anyways, we arrived in Houston and the first thing Krstina took us was to Rudy’s BBQ. A franchise BBQ spot that Krstina really likes.

Damn it was good and really cheap! I definitely recommend going here and getting moist brisket.

We met up with Krstina’s family to eat some Chinese food. Interesting place because you can bring your own bottle to drink.

Krstina took us to this amazing man made water fall which made for some cool silhouette photos.

    Seattle meets Houston.

Had to get in some promo shots for our new jacket.

We went to go get some dessert to fulfill some sweet tooths.

    Reppin’ everywhere.

We woke up hella early for the drive down to Austin because we wanted to try Salt Lick BBQ. Here’s a photo of the girls in front of the famed Austin painting.

Walked into a scene of hot links being cooked and the smell of meat made me feel tingly inside.

Ready to see what the hype was all about.

Shavi approved. My verdict is the food was good, but I think I would’ve been happy just going to Rudy’s. Meat is meat and as long it’s moist that’s all that matters to me.

Made it back to Houston to take some embarrassing tourist photos. Thanks Krstina and Abbitt for planning this trip! We finally got to have the taste of Texas meat in our mouth. All homo.

  • Paint The Town Red | Daily Life

Paint The Town Red | Daily Life

It’s been a while since we’ve done anything related to cars, so this night was especially exciting because we didn’t carpool to meet up. Everyone actually brought their cars out just like the good old days and it was awesome. The idea for the shoot was just to get all the red cars together for a video, but we got side tracked and ended up making a rap music video which you can find on our Instagram @royalorigin.

My SC next to Brendan’s classic Supra.

    Red or dead.

Brendan checking out Ashton’s recently finished Pandem E36.

The Supra is still looking good as it did 8 years ago in the lair.

Not red, but Keith brought out his nostalgic Accord.

John’s Corvette which sounds like a beast ever since it got a cam install.

A surprise visit, Phat brought out the Cayman. He got an oil change just to bring it out tonight.

Red never looked so good. Thank God Ashton didn’t stick with the blue.

You already know the plug’s vehicle, Rodney’s Cressida.

Man this photo is so cool. I wish I brought a tripod so I didn’t have to shoot with such high ISO.

Got some shots in with the 135mm, but people were already leaving, so I didn’t get that many photos of their cars.

Derek’s Cressida, twinning with Rodney but it looks alot better because of the black trim.

    Brandon’s never finished IS300.

Shout out to everyone who came out tonight! It was good hanging and we should definitely do it more often!

  • SEMA Day 1 | Event Coverage

SEMA Day 1 | Event Coverage

I kinda forgot I had some photos from SEMA, so here’s to remembering something that happened last year…

I was going to hang out in Vegas for a week and it so happened Nimo was going to. We met up and took a road trip to Vegas in his brand new Civic SI.

We stopped for a pee break and it ended up being a product photo shoot for our new hoodies, which you can get here at shop.royal-origin.com.

Our first stop in Vegas was the Island Sushi and Grill where they have the best poke in Vegas.

Nimo ended up detailing the crap out of his car.

We met up with Vu who is here filming for work and picked up Ryo from the airport.

First car photo I took and it was of this guy spilling his drink all over this clean E30. Well it’s not so clean anymore.

Still looking good after the spill, the guy didn’t even make an effort to clean up.

SEMA always brings the best builds out for display like this Varis GTR on Volk TE-37s.

Ryo happy as hell he’s back in the U.S.

Found Ryan Gold and Chivas in Hall A.

    Reppin’ everywhere we go.

Audi on equipped with a Clinched widebody kit.

Very nice wide EG from Auto Fashion.

    Squad up.

Not your average soccer mom van.

Also not your average tow truck.

We’ll be back next time for part two of a throwback Thursday of SEMA.

  • The Throwback at Eibach Springs | Event Coverage

The Throwback at Eibach Springs | Event Coverage

If there was ever a time to throw some 90’s R&B and go for a cruise, it would be for an event like The Throwback at Eibach. This meet was a pre 2000’s import car meet, where you can get your 90’s nostalgia feel going on. Some of the homies were attending and we happened to all have some old ass cars. Also check out our very first vlog here!

Met up with the squad early in the morning for some McDonalds and so we could cruise into the meet together.

I got the SC put back together for the meet.

This is Derek’s Cressida that was recently wrapped by Rodney.

Nimo brought out the wagon to try to get into the meet.

Rodney brought out his homie’s R33.

The day before I got a little crazy with some stickers for the SC…

We got there pretty early and there were already some premium cars.

This is what I would want my SC to be, Vertex and some TE-37s.

Some sick Mazdas rolling in early.

First time seeing a BN Sports kitted Cressida in person and I must say it looks damn good.

It aint the 90’s without the Hondas.

Some clean 240’s to complete the 90’s era feel.

In the blazing hot sun of Corona, CA we have this super hot FD on Advans RZ.

We left in the middle of the meet to go eat sushi, good thing Nimo’s BMW got denied entry because it wasn’t an “import”.

A rare sighting of what once was.

When we got back to the meet, it was almost empty, but the red cars in the middle still stood.

John brought out the NSX to it’s last meet before it gets shipped out to the new owner in Boston. We’ll have a full feature coming soon..

Not a pre-2000 car, but still awesome as hell to see.

    Sleeping beauty Ardy.

    The gang’s all here.

Shout out to my car for not breaking down today. You’re the real MVP. Also a big thanks to John for fixing my windows!!
