Tuner EVO SoCal 2018 | Event Coverage

One of the great things about living in Southern California and being an automotive enthusiasts is that there is always something car related to do every weekend. This weekend Abbitt hit us up to go check out Tuner Evolution which originated from the east coast. It was their first show in SoCal, so we wanted to see the difference between an east coast show and a west coast show.

Tune Evo was held at the famed Anaheim Convention Center. The parking is expensive and the workers suck here.

First thing we saw was this wide FRS on some equally wide 326 Power wheels.

This BN Sport S14 was my favorite car out of the whole show. Execution is flawless and you know I love red cars.

You already know it’s a new age car show when they have the RC drift car track set up.

Feeling this aggressive Subaru on Cosmis Racing wheels.

The rarest car at the show and in pristine condition is this Nissan Skyline Hakosuka. Nissan had so much style back then.

Spotted! You can get it here at shop.royal-origin.com.

Tuner Evo is known for having a mini concert at their shows. Xavier Wulf would be performing later on today.

So many things were going at this event like this break dancing competition which was pretty wild.

Loving the livery on this S2000.

Awesome mom starting the love for cars for her child early.

Karuma holding it down at Tuner Evo. Make sure you swing by ujidistribution.com for some gear!

That’s the rear end of my car!

    Anthony’s GS on Konig Monsters.

Love! love! The paint on this Miata and with such an aggressive aero setup to compliment the Work Meisters. Awesome execution.

Showing off the air jack and his big brake set up.

I’m surprised with all of this attention to detail, the owner of this car didn’t bedazzle the jack stands too.

Wow Tuner Evo even had a BMX competition going on..

    Wow.

Some things never change. Steve’s LS400 looking as good as always.

Tuner Evo is definitely a show to check out with the sick cars and various events going on. Non stop entertainment and a ton of sick cars. Hopefully I’ll be able to check out their east coast car shows one day.

Also wanted to post this photo of my wonderful meal after the Tuner Evo show. This is the shaken beef fries at Vox Kitchen. Until next time peeps!

Supreme Dreams with Becky | Model Shoots

We got together with Becky for a photo shoot, she wanted to show off some of her new Supreme pick ups and I wanted to see if I was still a good photographer. The sun was already setting before we got to our location, so we just pulled over at a park and improvised. We managed to squeezed some of these shots in. Check it out!

Despite the rush and fading light, there was something magic about the spontaneity of the moment. Becky styled her Supreme pieces effortlessly, mixing bold streetwear with a natural, confident presence in front of the camera while she also sport a favre watch, which is easy to maintain thanks to a favre leuba watch service. You can also visit the trusted Omega watch repair and maintenance services to ensure your timepiece stays in perfect condition. To get helpful tips on which luxury watches suit your style, you may read articles from a Luxury watch blog.

The combination of the golden hour glow and her energy brought an unexpected warmth to the shots—proof that sometimes, the best sessions come from unplanned moments.

As for me, picking up the camera again after a long break felt like coming home. I was rusty at first, but each frame brought back the rhythm. The quiet setting of the park gave us room to experiment and laugh through the process. This shoot reminded me that photography isn’t just about the gear or the location—it’s about trust, creativity, and the people who bring your lens to life.

Becky in the Supreme x Nas collab and rocking the Supreme Louie Vuitton bag.

    Lavish.

After the sun set, Vu setup his lights in my house and it really set the mood for a trap music video.

    Supreme rules everything around me.

We wrapped up the shoot and felt hungry, Becky recommended us to go to Vox Kitchen for dinner and it was bomb! They have shaken beef fries, garlic noodles and delicious steak.

A definite must try if you’re in the Fountain Valley area!

We got a familiar face that visited us this week, all the way from North Carolina. Big old Vinh. He was in town for his mom’s birthday and had time to hang with us. We decided to go out to Garden Grove Main Street for some matcha foam tea.

Late night hangs like we use to do.

Laugh at the guy that’s gonna have BMW problems soon..

Stance Nation Anaheim | Event Coverage

For the first time ever, Stance Nation had a show in Orange County! You already know we had to come out and support Elvis on this one. We decided to have a booth at the show, our first one this year and it was kind of weird setting up because it’s been so long since we’ve been at a show.

John helping his cousin Phil but a Royal Origin sticker on his clean S2000.

Lots of nice cars came out like this Liberty Walk Ferrari 458.

    Some elite looking FRS’s.

This Ferrari is in another class of it’s own or it’s because I’m really biased to red cars.

That camber and wheel fitment is so good on this FRS.

Amazing midnight purple R32 on BBS LMs.

    Meaty Flush.

    Japanese influence on this E46.

Ardy’s Lexus IS with a Clinch widebody kit.

David’s Audi A4 All Road bagged on RVL wheels.

Andy’s GS350 on Rotory Forged Wheels.

    Phil’s Mugen S2000.

You already know about John’s awesome Corvette! John has it looking clean for once.

Mikey trying to sell the Porsche. For a low price of 85k you can get the Porsche in the Ty Dolla Sign music video.

We told Sang he needed a GT wing to park with us and he fulfilled our wishes. Thanks Sang!

PURE VIP with the heat. They had almost every model of car with a VIP inspired build.

Love this S2000 from Evasive Motorsports. Nice and clean with the all time greatest wheel the Volk TE-37.

My favorite LS at the show from PURE VIP with the great metal wide body work and wheel fitment.

Our good friend Taylor’s LS400 on Rotiform ROC.

The want for an NSX is so real right now.

When will wide body be too wide? Look how crazy wide the fender on this Civic  is!

A family of foxes could live in this wheel.

The crowd waiting for awards anouncement.

Congrats to all the homies who won awards!

Shout out to Elvis for helping us with our booth and getting us cars in and thanks to Sang and Phil for showing with us! Hope you enjoyed the photos and thanks for visiting!

Red or Dead | Daily Life

Spent my day off getting my wife’s TLX tint installed by Mind Yours Window Tinting in Moreno Valley. Nimo introduced me to them a month ago and he got my Elantra done there. I loved the tint so much that I drove an hour just to get this work done again.

My wife’s new 2017 Acura TLX.

Nimo shouting out to the plug on IG.

While the tint was being done, we decided to go get some sushi at Asahi Sushi.

The last time I was here, Vinh Luong was still living in Riverside. Crazy how fast time passes..

Got back to Mind Yours Window Tinting and saw the awesome work they did for the TLX. That tint is so cool! I got limo tint in the rear and 20% in the front and even got the front window tinted.

Shout out to Manny for taking care of the TLX! Follow them @MindYoursWindowTinting on Instagram!

    MIND YOURS WINDOW TINTING

After I came home from Moreno Valley, I met up with Rodney and John at 102 Cafe for some boba.

Rodney recently started wrapping his Cressida to Avery Carmine Red and it looks fantastic for an unfinished job.

I wasn’t really prepared to do any shooting tonight, but we decided to mess around. I lit Rodney’s Cressida up with three iPhone flash lights. You can see it in the light streaks.

We decided to move to a brighter location, so we could actually get some usable photos.

Not sure why, but I really like the blues.

John’s Corvette has been looking extra good since he got a new hood and spoiler.

The mirrors of the Cressida were really bothering me..

So I told Rodney to wrap it before I continued shooting. Rodney is such a trooper.

Damn, it just got better. Now we just need that rear bumper on.

Generations apart, connected by one thing two idiots who decided to become friends with me.

Even though some of us got out of the car game, I’m glad some of us are still around doing cool shit.

    Lady in red.

    Proud to be an American.

    Thanks for visiting!

  • Dirty Diana | Daily life

    Dirty Diana | Daily life

Here are some random photos I took these past two weeks. My blogging game has been weak, I’m pretty sure it has to do with this fucking heat. It’s been in the 100s in temperature lately and my body is not meant for this weather. I shouldn’t be complaining since there are disastrous weather situations going on all around the world. The recent flooding in Houston is one of them and if you want to help out and don’t know how or you’re scared it won’t go directly to the cause then you can help by donating to one of these causes…

    https://southsideskatepark.com/i-cleaned-out-my-closet-for-houston/

#ICLEANEDOUTMYCLOSET is great because you’re just shipping out old clothes that you probably don’t even wear and giving it to people who actually need it.

    HOUSTON HUMANE SOCIETY

I was really distraught when I saw so many photos of animals being abandoned during the floods and one of my friend’s posted a well reputable organization that is rescuing the abandoned animals. You can Text LOVE to 20222 to donate $10 to their Disaster Relief Fund or donate at the above link.

    JJ WATT’S FUNDRAISER

JJ Watt of the Houston Texans created a fundraiser with a goal of $200,000 and just a couple of weeks later it’s now at $20,000,000! Crazy, I’m pretty sure JJ Watt is going to put most of this money into helping the flood victims and not put it into expenses like an American Red Cross.

    WEKFEST HOUSTON RELIEF

Our friends over at Wekfest wanted to help the victims of the Houston flooding by making a shirt where all net proceeds will be donated to various charities in Houston.

    PRINTS FOR HOUSTON

Prints for Houston is a fundraiser by a bunch of famous IG photographers. You pick a photo you want as a print and they donate the profits to charities in Houston. Pretty awesome!

John got a new hood for his Vette and it made his car look ten times more aggressive.

    John’s Corvette is on point.

Saw this brisket sandwich on Food Beast and I had to try it. It ended up being a disappointment.. Looks good but the meat was so bland and there wasn’t enough.

Took Dirty Diana out for a shoot that I’ve always wanted to do on Main St.

I love neon lights and bright signs that’s why I wanted to shoot in front of this Cabaret theater. The conditions were kind of difficult because there were a bunch of cars coming through, so I was getting a lot of these crazy light streaks.

This one turned out okay, but it was kind of dark.

The money shot with just a little bit of Photoshop.

Ever since the SC was wrapped it feels like I need to make it more aggressive. Maybe a vented hood is needed just like John’s Corvette.

Took some shots of our new HOODRATstuff hoodie which you can get here..

    Break the mold.

Thanks for reading and prayers for those who are affected by the recent flooding and those who are preparing for the hurricanes on the East Coast.

Old Adventures and New | Daily Life

I had an adventurous week. Here’s how it went..

That feeling when you leave work for a long week vacation.

Parked the two beauties in my little man cave.

John came over to pick up some of the new merch, which you can get at shop.royal-origin.com.

John keeps his black Corvette pretty clean.

The next day, we went on a boat for a small cruise in San Diego.

Angelo cheering to the good life. We all had our cameras out and drinks up because of this…

Vinh proposed to Rica! You may know Vinh as the guy with the crazy red STI always on Work Wheels and Rica as the girl who sells stickers at the car shows for us. They’ve been together for so long and for some reason this moment made me feel 10 years older. We’re not those kids anymore ruining the streets of SoCal anymore..

     Congratulations Vinh and Rica!

We couldn’t stay the night in San Diego because of an early flight the next morning to Washington D.C. Got to catch the sunrise in the morning before the airport.

I didn’t take any photos in Washington D.C. because I was mostly in the hotel room being a sloth while Julia was working. We ended up going to New York for the last couple of days of our trip.

Julia’s first time in NYC. The lights were blinding her.

The next morning we went to go eat at Clinton’s Baking Company for salmon egg benedict and pancakes.

We also went to Sweet Moment for this watermelon shaved ice. Bomb.

We decided to go to the Metropolitan Museum for the day. It’s crazy this place is donations only and you can choose how much to pay.Afterwards we walked around Central Park and found this castle in the middle of it all.

For dinner we went to Chelsea Market for Very Fresh Noodles for the famous long noodles.

Gonna end the adventure with Julia enjoying the fuck out of the noodles we got. They were so good!

Thanks for reading and now we’re back to the daily life.

A Day with Andy | Royal Origin Member

Andy asked me to take some photos of his car because he just got new wheels. So, we decided to hit up Mile Square Park for a last minute photo shoot.

Andy had some minor technical difficulties with his Air Lift.

Andy’s GS is looking real good with the Rotary Forged wheels.

We met up with Nimo and Vu at our usual KBBQ spot.

    It’s an addiction.

$11.99 for AYCE KBBQ, you just can’t beat that.

We’re the kings of this castle.

    Good night.
