    Wheel Wednesday

Finally had a day off work and it was spent putting in work on cars. Shavi met up with me early in the morning because we both had to go to Rotiform. I was going to be dropping off my Junction Produce Scaras to get the faces milled down to fit an aftermarket lip and Shavi was going to order some Air Lift products through Jason.

    054

Weird seeing this car more often now, Shavi’s MS3 use to be the rarest unicorn.

    051

As soon as we reach Rotiform, Orbit was there to greet us.

    048

You can always expect some cool rides over at the Rotiform parking lot like Brian’s S4 on Rotiform INDs.

    052

Rotiform INDs look perfect on any big body cars.

    045

Right next to the S4 is Jason’s Mercedes CLS 55 AMG on their new Rotiform WRW.

    049

    Very cool design by Rotiform.

    113

After our trip to Rotiform, I drove by the Boss Company garage to see what they were up to. 141

Jimmy was taking out his Work VS Mesh face and replacing it with a Work Equip face.

    111

Adam had Vinh’s S13 in the garage for a full detail job.

    104

Kevin and Vinh were working on putting in some KW suspension for Kevin’s S2000.

    143

    So many parts laying around..

    126

In the midst of it, an ice cream truck was chased down by three grown ass adults.

    130

    I regret nothing.

    117

    Adam’s lipless Subie.

    115

For the past month, while I wait for my Scara’s to be rebuilt, Vinh has been kind enough to let me rock his Weds Bazerias. 20’s don’t look too bad on my car, but it only fits my rears.

    154

    Installing the Mugen front lip.

    152

    That mirror finish..

    139

Adam made it look like it just came fresh out of the paint shop.

    157

You can see the details of Vinh’s shelf through his paint. If anyone needs a detail job from Adam you can contact him at Adametayeb@gmail.com.

    132

Thanks to JDM Chemicals for their awesome products!

    155

I love bokeh even if there isn’t a subject to focus on.

    160

    Jimmy’s final product.

  • BOOSHMA V3

    BOOSHMA V3

Sad to say, BOOSHMA V2 never came into fruition and Derek had decided to part ways with his S13 project. It was just too much work and Derek did not have any means to get around to work and school. Derek was lucky enough that Vinh hooked him up with our old friend Jimmy of Super Autobacs on a pretty clean GS300. This GS300 has alot of history with us, Vinh did his second air setup on this car and I remember drooling over this car every time I went to Super Autobacs. 6 grand later and here we have BOOSHMA V3.

As you can tell this is a late post, you can find a picture of Derek’s car finished in the WFC fest post.

  • Wrong Fitment Crew Fest

    Wrong Fitment Crew Fest

Whenever Wrong Fitment Crew throws a meet, you should already know that Royal Origin will be there to support it. We’ve had an impeccable record of attending each meet that Wrong Fitment Crew has created since 2010. This year they held their car meet at SAE Motorsports in Oceanside, where the weather was about 10 degrees cooler and the roads didn’t suck. Once you pass Oceanside to San Diego the roads go from smooth to complete shit.

    010

We created a caravan off the freeway in Irvine and a couple of friends joined us. One of the friends was Derek driving his super slammed RX-8.

    012

    My IS250, Adam’s Subaru and Derek’s RX-8.

    013

Kentaro’s 9th gen Civic on MB Battles.

    016-2

More people started to show up.

    018

    The wonderful S13.

    020

One of the cleanest E60s out there and he was going to be caravaning with us.

    022

Chris was tired of rubbing in the front, so he decided to run no fenders.

    024

Keith and Marc decided to match today.

    025

    So did Ashton and Carol..

    026

    Jay and Heather..

    027-2

and finally me and Shavi. Shavi was wearing black pants too.

    029-2

Derek met up with us just to give us good luck hugs. He couldn’t make it to the meet because he had work later on the day.

    030

    Kodak moment.

    031-2

Jay really going for it.. Kentaro looks real jealous in the back.

    032

Everyone genuinely enjoyed the hugs. I know I did!

    034

Another shot of Chris’s stupid Z.

    036

As soon as we got on the freeway, we hit what I like to call a traffuckus. Traffic that fucks you so hard, you don’t even move.

    041

I was able to squeeze some rolling shots in whenever the traffic cleared a bit.

    044

    046

    Chris’s 350z looks crazy rolling.

    047

    and back to the traffic..

    058

    Stuck.

    063

    065

Once we passed the two boobs, the freeway was all clear for some nice rolling shots.

    074

    Maybe a little..

Wekfest San Jose 2013 | The Destination

This post was supposed to be posted last week, but due to technical difficulties with our old hosting server we had to delay it. Hopefully with this new host, we are able to accommodate all the traffic we’ve been getting. The day of the show seems like a blur to me. I felt so rush throughout the day from going to get change for the booth to making sure I had time to get coverage of the show. My mind was all over the place.

I wasn’t able to get as much coverage as I wanted because like previous Norcal Wekfest shows there was just so many people that were getting in the way of my shots. So, please bare with me on all my photos.

    221

Pure VIP’s 2IS on CCW. I really liked the front splitter to the rear diffuser, I want to do something similar to this setup.

    222

    The famous purpie.

    240

I’ve seen so many photos of the Liberty Walk kitted M3’s that it’s starting to become a normal to see these at shows.

    244

    Giraffe style LS430.

    276

It was cool how they had a giraffe display for people to take photos with.

    280

Gerald’s root beer was getting a lot of attention.

    282

    Vinh’s ridiculously low STI.

    294

Jeff, Ryan Gold, Rica and I doing work at our booth.

    424

People were asking to get photos with Rica. #famous

    388

We released our new Hoodratstuff tank top and our Set the Sun tee at the show. Which is available online here..

    304

As promised we made it rain stickers.. Not many people were catching the stickers, so we flooded the floors with stickers. In the end though, there was not a single sticker left. #stickerhungry

    335

    Thanks for reppin Chelsea!

    361

This Wekfest I saw a lot of crazy VIP builds and not the ones where they just have suspension, wheels and a JP knot. Real VIP builds with crazy attention to detail such as this LS460. I wish I had more time to fully check out all the VIP cars at the show, but my mind was rushing all over the place.

    431

Another crazy VIP car is Sean from JDM Palace’s LS430. So VIP that the car gets chauffeured around.

    790

Spotted Lance and Anthony sharing an outlet. A very romantic moment in WFC bromance history.

    825

Never personally met Hieu, but I’ve met his car several times so I guess we’re friends? I love the color of his car and how the Work Meisters make his car look so bright and shiny.

    256

Ojay’s Laker themed Previa. One of the few boss Vans out there.

    348

    Thanks for reppin’ Ojay!

    353

Flew by the Fatlace booth and spotted Kenny working the booth.

    372

Next to the Fatlace booth was Joey’s booth. I did a drive by shooting and got some pretty cute head shots of him.

    373

    Facebook profile worthy.

    375

Still ridiculous every time I see this engine bay by Rywire. It makes me want to attempt this on the SC400, but knowing me I probably don’t have the patience or money for it.

    364

Finally got to see Elvis’s LS400 in person. Looks just as crazy in person as it does in photos and with the new Work Meisters it is definitely one of my favorite LS400s right now.

    367

Futura brakes and Work Meisters are the definition of baller.

    347

Michael Mao’s award winning NSX. Not going to be surprised if he came home with a couple of awards.

    265

ATS Garage brought the heat with all of their builds. A lineup that would make all the Honda fanboys scream like little girls.

    377

Evasive FRS with a huge crowd around it.

    455

     This was definitely interesting.

    749

    750

    Oh hai.

    755

Hayle wanted some real photos, so she put on the serious face and did some serious modeling.

    758

I call this the “wheel stepper”.

    766

The seriousness didn’t last long and the flamingo pose was back.

    774

The Futura LS430 is probably one of the most godly VIP builds in the U.S. Everything from the headliner to the brakes makes me want to sell my soul so I could build a car of this caliber.

    782

I guess this is the Subaru version of Elvis’s LS400.

    793

Another shot of the Root Beer.

    795

Our new friend David was nice enough to show with us at Wekfest. Thanks David!

    850

    854

     Salem’s TSX.

    400

    All gold everything.

    492

Out of nowhere a lesbian sex scene began..

    496

    Cheek to cheek… so sensual..

    494

    488

The fam waiting for the awards to be over..

    472

Congrats to Vinh for taking home 3rd best Subaru of the show and apparently the whole nation as well, that’s what the announcer said so we’re sticking to that story.

There is about 130 more photos in the gallery, so be sure to check it out too! Tomorrow, we’re going to have a special post with some cool photos taken of the Wekfest roll out. Make sure you come back to check it out!

  • Wekfest San Jose 2013 | The Journey

Wekfest San Jose 2013 | The Journey

After attending last year’s Wekfest in San Francisco, we were convinced that we had to be at the next one with a booth and some of our cars. Unfortunately, we were not able to bring out all of our cars because of the limited space this year. We were suppose to bring about 15 cars, but we were limited to 5. Oh wells. This year we decided to get a rental and cruise it up to norcal like real pimps.  Thanks to Jeremy for hooking it up on the rape van. Unfortunately, none of our cars from socal were rolling up. Three out of five cars were already in norcal and the other two were in Santa Barbara and Las Vegas, so no cool rolling shots 🙁

    001

    Royal Origin’s bang bus.

    002

A lot of hoodratstuff took place in this van. It is best if we did not talk about it.

    011

    Long road ahead of us.

    013

Shavi is like a fucking robot when he drives. Drove 6 hours and was not phased at all. After the drive, we played monopoly deals until 5 am.

    017

We reached Vinh’s house at like 2 AM. He was in his garage getting Ariana (His Subaru) ready for tomorrow.

    019

    Ariana without her face on.

    024

She sure has some pretty expensive shoes.

    025

    Late nights doing hoodratstuff.

    028

While Vinh was prepping his car, we were hard at work setting things up for our booth.

    031

2 hours later, Gerald pulled up to Vinh’s house and began his Wekfest prep. He was using sloppy’s Mugen M7’s for the crazy drive from Las Vegas. We ended up throwing on the curb for the trash man to take it.

    034

This was my first time seeing the root beer on the Work CR-01s. Fitment was on point like always and wheels did a great contrast to the paint.

    036

Our new friends, JDM Chemicals gave us some stuff to help wash our cars. Be sure to check out their products, quality stuff! www.jdmchemicals.com

Back in the driver seat after a 2 hour nap. Shavi the mother fucking robot.

    063

We were anticipating a gang of cars to be lined up for roll in, but apparently our time was for vendors only. Pretty slammed S14 on Work Eurolines cruising up.

    076

A 2014 IS250, can’t wait for what the future has in store for this car.

    077

A Rocket Bunny FRS was on the trailer too.

    079

David’s GTR, he was also nice enough to show his car with us. Thanks David!

    080

Ryan’s EVO, this car should look pretty crazy in the future.

    082

Keith couldn’t make it to Wekfest with his IS300, so Jason bought some VS-KFs just so we wouldn’t miss his car too much.

    083

Jeff enjoying that cracker a little too much..

    084

    Sensual eyes.

    085

“No paparazzi, please talk to my manager for business inquiries” -Jeff.

    087

How are you still up? Lol..

    091

Ariana with her make up on and looking real good.

    093

Jason’s IS300, check out that rear tuck.

    098

I see Hako everyday at Illest OC. Weird to see it outside of the shop.

    105

The S14 from earliery. So refreshing..

    106

Another sick Subie wagon on Work Meisters. Whatever that kit is, it looks really good.

    108

Mr. Calitri aka dual car mbn lifestyle showed up with his IS-F also on Work Meisters.

    110

Damn, is it me or all cars look 100 times better when lowered?

    111

After we got everything set up, we hit up one of our favorite spots to eat in Milipitas. Pepper Lunch.

    114

Vinh checking out Levy Tran’s booty. It got us real hungry.

    116

No more booty stalking, Rica’s here..

    119

Shavi about to annihilate this plate. It was his first time and he is now a fan!

    121

As I type this caption, I am trying to eat my computer screen.

    124

    Good food with good people.

    128

On our way to the hotel, we decided to see why girl’s love selfies so much. I will now be taking selfies of myself every hour. Hopefully I get more followers on instagram.

    131

Our little hip hotel equipped with a bar and cute Asian front desk attendant.

    133

We stayed at the San Jose Hilton which was connected to the convention center, so there were a lot of cool cars in our parking structure.

    135

After we checked in, the group decided to go do tourist’s stuff in San Francisco. We picked up this little weirdo on the way..

    136

    More selfies.. I’m addicted.

    137

Getting turnt up on a strawberrygita.

    146

    and it was all yellow..

    150

Spotted a sick IS300 in the streets of the pier.

    A caravan of segways.

    157

She always gives me the weirdest smiles.

    159

Keith on the other hand always looks dapper as fuck.

    160

Not really sure why, but I really like this blurry photo of Hayle. Probably because it’s blurry.

    161

Oh and we picked up Jay too, who was going to be on modeling at our booth.

    163

    Her and Hayle are weird.

    165

Ryan and Jenny finally getting their clam chowder fix.

    184

Hayle is a fun person to hang out with. She is always laughing and twerking.

    186

The things people do for money. He should take his act to Vegas or something. I’m sure a lip singing silver robot will do really well there.

    188

I’m sure Jeff wanted an emo photo.

    194

Not to self. Don’t let a photographer drive.

    197

    Busy and crowded.

  • The Pursuit 2013

    The Pursuit 2013

Every year I hope that my car is in acceptable form to go to the Pursuit hosted by Longo Lexus. If you don’t know anything about the Pursuit or the Lexus scene, it is the biggest Lexus gathering on the west coast and maybe the whole nation. This year most of the crew upgraded from Hondas to Lexuses, so we were able to roll pretty deep to the gathering.

    IMG_7736

    Ashton racing himself.

    IMG_7739

His car looks pretty cool though when he does a rice flyby.

Two different edits of similar shots, I wasn’t too sure of what I was going for when I was editing.

    IMG_7800

June’s crazy IS300. Trust me there are no other IS300s as low as him.

    IMG_7807

Just kidding, his older brother’s IS300 wagon is just as crazy. Young’s IS300 wagon is ridiculous as well!

    IMG_7811

Sorry if there’s several rolling shots of the same car. There are just so many good shots that I want to share with you guys.

    IMG_7974

    So much tucking..

    IMG_8001

Very amazed on how she drives this everywhere..

SPOCOM 2013, we were suppose to have a booth and quite a bit of our guys were going to show their cars. Unfortunately, vendor space was sold out and we were not able to display our booth. We decided to not show our cars and just went to check it out.

  • Thursty Thursday | The Thirst is Fucking Real

Thursty Thursday | The Thirst is Fucking Real

Lately, there have been some thirstyass people on the internet, so we decided to throw a meet that would quench their thirst. We didn’t want it to be a big meet, so we didn’t promote it until the day of. We were hoping that the lot wouldn’t be too overflowed with cars like the last time we held the meet here, and got kicked out.

    IMG_6810

The crowd was pretty big that day, even for a meet that was promoted only 18 hours ago.

    IMG_6824

In the city of Westminster, you will see a lot of Lexuses and once in a while, it’ll be VIPed out.

    IMG_6809

My favorite part of any meet is when the cars roll in. Driving through a crowd, breaking necks, and finding the best parking is always fun to me.

    IMG_6823

The search for good parking seemed impossible. It took a lot of patience and clever maneuvering.

It’s JDM YO! Third Year Anniversary

A couple of weeks ago, it’s jdm yo celebrated its third anniversary. In car blogging fashion, they celebrated by throwing a little meet. Of course, being supporters of it’s jdm yo from the beginning and having one of our members Keith apart of it, we had to be there. 042

    043

Ridiculous amount of camber in the rear of this LS400. Would be cool if the front matched the rear.

    044

    Shiny red Supra.

    045

The Bat Mobile doesn’t look that safe with carbon fiber parts. How is he going to drive through walls without breaking the car? Get it together, Bruce!

    024-2

Bagged EVO, scraping the driveway as he leaves.

    047

Another bagged car, a, NSX on Airrex. Don’t see these too often.

    048

    050

    So envious of that grille.

    057

    I see this van everywhere.

    055

Damn, daily driven NSX? Must be nice or these cars are getting too old and no one gives a fuck anymore.

    058

    Chis Wayoki lives!

    062

Awesome S14, been seeing this car more often and it still breaks my neck.

Royal Flush late to the party.

    064

    066

First time seeing Jeff’s car on his new TMB’s. Looks pretty damn good to me.

    068

Another good-looking RSX. Jerald’s bagged RSX on Work Meisters.

    069

Chain reaction…another car on Work Meisters that you should be familiar with.

    072

Afterwards, we decided to cruise over to Confetti for some bomb dessert.

    078

    Made it in one piece.

    076

Jesus, his car is ridiculous. Bagged and doesn’t ride much higher than this.

    079

    081

    Some colorful desserts.
