    Auto Gallery 2012

Time is something I have very little of nowadays, so I’m sorry I haven’t been providing any content lately. I have photos of a little photo shoot we did after Auto Gallery, Hella Flush 11, and the G35 meet/More Japan Sale, so be sure to check the site regularly! Now onto Auto Gallery, this show was pulled off successfully by Team Praxis.  You don’t know how hard it is to pull an event near the beach. It costs tons of money and a ton of paperwork from the city. Food trucks aren’t even allowed to be within a mile of the beach, but  somehow Team Praxis got them in. The show gave a beach party type of vibe, with music blazing and bikini models walking around like in the music video for the song Starships by Nicki Minaj.

    Summer in Ghetto Valley

It’s been a long time since I’ve been to this corner of California. I used to swing by every other weekend just to sleep over and make shitty fried rice. Well, things change, people grow apart, and memories are just that…memories. So, it was cool to see some of the guys that I haven’t seen because of whatever they have going on in their lives. I forgot how much fun it was when we just hung out and did random shenanigans.

    The Nights Never Ends

All nighters. Do you ever do them and then the next day say, “I’ll never do that shit again” and then end up doing it again anyways? Yeah, I do this all the time, from prepping for a show or just hanging out in a parking garage and fitting some wheels. I’ve been spending a lot of late nights doing absolutely nothing and everything. Here are some photos from the past nights.

Shavi is selling his 18″ Rotiform NUEs and Jimmy was considering buying it to put it on Thuy’s TSX.

    Low Beachin

I’ve been missing the Lowballers lately; it’s been a really long minute since we hung out. In our honeymoon phase, we saw each other every week. One week, we would make the trip to Vegas and the other week, they would come to Cali. Nowadays, we rarely get together, but when we do, it’s epic. Gerald and Chivas came down for Nisei and since we were at the Infamous, we didn’t get to hang out that day. The next morning, Gerald hit us up and we did some old school bromancin’.

Gerald wanted to show us how he get’s down.

  • The Infamous Pre-Meet

    The Infamous Pre-Meet

Sorry, we’ve been pretty busy getting ready for the Infamous show and have not had the time to finish the photos from our Pre-Meet. Hopefully, this post keeps you busy until our coverage of Infamous is complete. The day started early for us because we had to set up. We tried to reserve all of the front parking for modified cars only, but some peeps wanted to show off their stock cars. When we arrived, IMKING had already put up the photos for the photo exhibition and the store was cleaned up and ready for the sale.

A nice little setup; seeing photos printed looks so much cooler than seeing them on a screen.

  • Thursty Thursday.

    Thursty Thursday.

Water rolled down our faces, and our worst fears became reality when the rainy clouds appeared. All week long, the summer rays were shining bright as ever, but on the night of our meet, nature decided that it was thirsty for some rain. Hours before the meet, we were still debating whether or not we should have the meet or postpone it because at 9pm, the weather forecast predicted thunderstorms. Like all of our previous meets, we decided last minute that the meet would continue and we didn’t really care who came out because we had to get our Peach Me Sweatea fix. I rolled up early and to my surprise, there were already a gang of cars. I didn’t know there were people as down as us to kick it even during thunderstorms.

Cars were constantly coming through; the Tastea lot was overflowing with rain and cars, so people started parking in the fire lanes and handicap zones.

  • Garage Highlights

    Garage Highlights

The past few days, I have been working on my car trying to get it finished.  Here are some highlights from working in the garage.

Pulling out of my little garage spot and getting into a larger area, ready to put in work.

It’s always satisfying to have that space to yourself, where you can focus and get your hands dirty, fixing and tuning everything until it’s just right. The garage becomes a sanctuary of sorts, where all the tools are within reach, and the satisfaction of a job well done is just a few steps away.

If you’re spending a lot of time in your garage, having a reliable garage door is essential for convenience and security. Whether you’re renovating your workspace or just upgrading your home, professional garage door installation and repair services can make all the difference. For a more refined look, incorporating finishes like Calacatta marble in adjacent entryways or countertops can add a luxurious touch to the overall design. Complementing the space with outdoor mats that last can also help maintain cleanliness and durability around high-traffic entry points.

A smooth-operating garage door ensures easy access, protecting your vehicles and belongings while giving your space a clean, polished look. For those in need of top-notch garage door services, All Star in Utah is a trusted name that delivers expert installation and repair solutions.

With their experience and dedication to quality, All Star ensures that your garage doors are both functional and durable, making your work in the garage that much easier.

As garages evolve, so do the technologies that make them more efficient. Electric garages are a game-changer, offering modern convenience and enhanced functionality.

If you’re looking to upgrade to an electric garage door, Cocheras Electricas En Torreon is a great choice for those seeking quality and efficiency. These electric systems provide smooth, reliable operation at the touch of a button, allowing you to spend less time worrying about manual labor and more time focusing on your projects.

With advanced security features and the ability to automate your garage door, you’ll have peace of mind knowing your space is both accessible and secure.

Upgrading to a garage door is just the beginning when it comes to enhancing the functionality of your space. To truly optimize your garage, you’ll want a reliable opener installation that ensures smooth, efficient operation.

This is where D&L Garage Doors comes in. With their expertise in opener installation, they can help you choose the right system that suits your specific needs.

Whether it’s a quiet and powerful opener for a residential garage or a more robust system for commercial use, their team ensures top-tier installation and performance.

If you are lowered to the point like me where your stock jack and low-pro jack do not fit under your car, you probably know about the drive-over-wood routine to get that extra clearance.

    Local Beach Burger Meet

If you like nicely-modded European cars and love bomb burgers, then this car meet is for you. Every Tuesday, there is a Euro car meet hosted at Beach Burgers in Huntington Beach.
