Living in southern California where there is always something going on in the car scene and sometimes there are multiple events going on the same day such as Formula Drift Tech Day and XS Car Nights. Good thing the timing didn’t interfere that much and with good planning we would be able to hit both events.
The classic HOONIGAN RWB made an appearance sporting a wide set of Fifteen52 Tarmac wheels.
Bulletproof Automototive’s Varis FRS.
Wide and wild styling 1 Series.
Looks like those drift carts are starting to catch on.
Inside the building, they had people completing Daigo’s GTR livery.
9th Gen Civic on MB Battles.
The Rocket Bunny RCF has to be my favorite Rocket Bunny kit for a car. This kit would be one of the reasons I would buy a RCF.
The car looks great from all angles, each side showing an aggressive side of the Lexus.
As you can see, I came to the event really late and most of the crowd had already dispersed.
John Fob’s GTR on his favorite wheels the Volk TE-37.
After Formula D Tech Day, I met up with Nimo, Hayle, Chivas, Derek and Chan at Thuan Kieu for some Vietnamese food.
Steam rice cakes, definitely recommended for appetizers.
Nimo loves it when he gets a little Vietnamese in him.
Bun rieu, a Vietnamese meat rice vermicelli soup.
Nimo satisfied after getting the V.
Chivas and Chan enjoying each other’s company.
When a couple catches you creepin’ on them.
After a good meal, we ventured down to Long Beach for the XS Car Show. It took us three hours to get there because of some ridiculous traffic and some shenanigans that we went through with Hayle. This area had a great view of the Queen Mary and other city lights and made the background for photos excellent.
Cars and lights, an automotive photographer’s dream.
Two guys enjoying the view.
Low N Slow booty.
Robert’s FRS from Low n Slow looking good as always.
Killagram’s FRS aka the “financial mistake”.
A bunch of nice European cars out at this show.
That background tho..
Another album cover photo for DEM BEATS.
I really wanted to get some good shots from this event and lucky for me Keith’s Accord was here for me to shoot it with the Queen Mary as the background.
Feels.
Good night from us and Hayle, see ya at the next show!
