There’s a quote out there that goes something like “i’d rather work, have money and no social life than to be broke and chillin with the same people, doing the same shit as last year” well I don’t mind doing the same shit last year because my friends are cool as fuck. We decided to have a kick back for Adam’s belated birthday and just to catch up with everyone. Almost seemed like everyone came out even the Choi brothers.

ARK Performance Unveiling/KINOD

ARK Performance invited us to come out to their Formula Drift car unveiling last week promising us a night of high horse powered cars and free food, I couldn’t say no! A little background on ARK Performance Inc., it was founded 15 years ago, and is now one of the largest leading manufacturing facilities in the Republic of Korea for aftermarket performance products. They are based right now in Chino Hills, CA where they will be participating in a lot of major automotive events in the 2014 season.

Slammed Society Prep 2013

I don’t think it’s possible…… For Royal Origin to not be last minute on finishing our cars for any show. We had a couple of people in the group that were finishing their cars up for the Formula Drift Slammed Society showcase. We had Big Vinh who is putting together a turbo kit, Vinhnumber is rebuilding his STI motor after it was blown, Jay and John slapping on a bunch of aero, June who is doing a complete makeover and Chris trying to make some Work Equips with ridiculous negative offsets fit his car. It just seemed like everyone was all over the place while all I was worried about was getting a car detail from Adam.

Slammed Sundays

This is the beginning of something great, we collaborated with Illest Orange County on a monthly car meet that we dubbed Slammed Sundays. We might change the name somewhere down the road, so tune in on the development of this meet. It will be held on the second Sunday of every month and we will have food trucks and Illest will be having in store promotions for those who attend.
