My favorite thing to do is be out in the wilderness where mass murderers and bears can come out to kill you without any way of calling for help because you know in all movies police or any government aid in the wilderness are pretty much useless. But for my wife’s happiness, I risked my safety and we planned a trip out to Zion National Park with Chivas, Shavi, Nimo, Derek, Polly, Angelo and Bonnie. Most of my photos will be covering the second day of the trip, since I wasn’t able to make it to the first day where everyone went off-roading.

    Zion | RO Offroad

It hasn’t been long since some of us have fallen in love with off-roading, which really compliments our love of all things car, and exploring the world we live in. So, we decided to plan a Friday to Sunday camping and off-roading trip to Zion National Park in Utah.  With Zion National Park only 2-3 hours away from Las Vegas, Nevada, and 6-7 hours away from Southern California; it was far enough to change the scenery dramatically. The first day was just filled with getting there, and setting up camp so we could off-road till the sunsets.

The Big Day | Enjoy Sin

The big day was here, all the planning we’ve been doing for the past three months has led to this day. Even if the event wasn’t going to be successful, we were just happy to reunite with our friends in Vegas. It’s been a long time since those days we use to take turns on who visited who each weekend and that was the honeymoon stage of our friendship. Even though the honeymoon phase is over, we still have mad love for each other.

    842

We spent most of the morning getting over our hangovers and trying to get a quick power nap before the meet. That is why we like our car meets late in the afternoon. Check out the crew in all black everything, Jeff didn’t get the memo.

Miguel brought out the eye sore of a car his minty wide body M35.

    859

Lance brought out his newly acquired NSX on TE37s.

Sara and Hayle excited to meet and interview everybody.

Aron, the newest member of Royal Origin. He’s always been a nice guy and let’s us get it in whenever we want, so it was a no brainer when adding him.

This year however has been the least stressed for me with so much help this year, this meet went smoothly without me having to stress too much. Thank you to Kevin and HNRS for planning this collab, Shavi for working everything, VU with the coverage and giving us amazing IG videos, Nimo for taking care of us and giving us fun moments, Aron for all of the help, I notice all the small things you do for us and I’m truly grateful for it. Hayle and Sara for being our spokes models for the event, Jay and LV Racing for help with promotion and getting us a food truck, the Lowballers for always supporting our meets, JDM CHEMICALS, AVANT GARDE WHEELS, ILOVERACING, AWSTICKERS, LEXON, AIR RUNNER SYSTEMS, KYOEI, 714 TIRES for sponsoring the event, Becky for reassuring me when I did have a small anxiety attack, everyone in Royal Origin and their girlfriends who made this trip the best time of my life and most importantly everyone who supported us and came to the meet. You guys are the reason why HNRS LV will be carrying our line in their store now. Thank you, I can’t wait to show you what’s next.

Spent the day in down town LA, we planned to do a photo shoot of Neel’s LS400 before he leaves us to Las Vegas for work. • A Night to Remember

    A Night to Remember

About a week ago, Lowballers Japan came out to Cali for a little visit. We actually threw a small meet for them so they could get a feel of what the car scene is like out here. Unfortunately, I arrived to the meet on Filipino time so I wasn’t able to snap any pictures. A couple of days after the meet, we took the Lowballers out for the night. We decided on Past Memories in Garden Grove. It is a small Korean restaurant that serves bombdotcom Soju and pretty good Korean Food. This time, I had my camera with me, so I was ready to snap some pictures of the infamous Lowballers Japan, but stupid me got too buzzed to take pictures so I ended up forgetting to take my camera out (I’m sorry).

Shortly after dinner, the Lowballers went back to their hotel because they had an extremely early flight the next morning. Vince and Yogi from Fatlace/Illest decided to come out and chill with us that night, and Vince brought out his Gangster of Gangsters Honda Odyssey. Nimo also came out that night and brought out his super dumped IS300. Since we were all together and Yogi also had his camera, we decided to do a photo shoot of Vince’s car and the rest of the cars that were there.

We started the night off at a DIY car wash. Vince, looking sexy as fuck, washing his car.

Vince making sure the van is spotless.

Minh tried to be sexy like Vince, but failed.

Nimo decided to dump the shit out of his car so he could shit on June Choi…lol jk.

Nimo now eats the pavement for breakfast.

Minh thinking to himself, “mehhh, that was me two years ago.”

My little sister DD for me that night, she’s awesome. Keep a look out for her STI this year. It’s going to be crazy.

Yogi about to do some magic with his camera.

    sequence 021-2

Unfortunately all the pictures I took of Vince’s car came out like shit. All of them were super grainy or too dark. I messed around with one picture in Photoshop and this is what I came out with. Like I said before, this van is super gangster. I believe it is rocking a set of Work Meister’s s1R on one side and a set of SSr MS1 on the other side. Don’t quote me on it though because I am not 100 percent sure.

    yogi's photographer stance

Jeff came out that night as well, and brought out his RSX. This thing will always make you drool.

Nimo and Young decided to park hard as fuck at the underground parking lot.

Neel’s Accord has to be one of the most underrated and overlooked cars in the car scene. It definitely needs more publicity because his car is just neckbreaking!!

    A Royal Adventure

Keith Cheng aka Keychain here, and this is my first post ever on Royal Origin. I am usually blogging and taking pictures for It’s JDM Yo, but I am here to share with  you our Las Vegas adventure through Jeff and my eyes.

A few rolling shots on our way to Las Vegas.

Ryan Gold’s Civic Si. He drove all the way from Santa Barbara to join this adventure with us.

    BabyStacks Cafe

During our trip in Vegas, the Royal Origin and Lowballers fam wanted to gather up for some breakfast. We planned the night before that we would go BabyStacks Cafe, previously known as BabyCakes. Well actually, we had pretty much made it a plan to go to BabyStacks way before the Vegas trip. This was my first time (Vinh) in Las Vegas with everyone, so I was probably the only one who hasn’t had the opportunity to enjoy their bomb breakfast foods. Everyone always talked about how awesome their red velvet pancakes are. I had some pretty high expectations coming in for breakfast and I wasn’t disappointed one bit. It was amazingly life changing; I will never look at ordinary pancakes the same. A must-have if you’re ever in the area. Haha, sorry for my Yelp Review, now let’s see some photos.

Everyone starting to show up at BabyStacks.
