    Straw Hat Richey

During our trip to H2Oi, we had the pleasure of finally meeting a long time internet friend, Ryan Richey from South Carolina with his custom wide body bugeye Subaru. Ryan built his car into his own creation with the many different influences he has gained in the automotive realm.

    Filmed & Edited By: @ShaviW

The custom wide body Ryan molded with his hands is quite nice and unique of course.

The 326 power wing sits right at home on the body. Good choice.

Cool points for the lambo doors. You either dig it or you don’t.

Finally seeing this car in person is just a surreal experience when we have only seen it via the internet till now. Thanks Ryan for letting us take some shots, and for being such an awesome stud muffin. Hopefully, we can hang out some more next year at SOWO.

  • Bobby’s GS300

    Bobby’s GS300

It is very rare for me to make my way down to San Diego, just because it is quite a drive and there is never really a reason to go there. But for a few days, I had to stay down there for some hospital interview, and on my free time I was able to explore a small portion of San Diego, mostly downtown SD. While I was there, I got to hang out with my buddy Bobby Bouaphakeo, who showed me a few beautiful spots in SD.

Bobby showed me a cool spot with a view of downtown San Diego. It was time to clean the car up and take some pictures before it got too dark.

Bobby supporting VIP Tint & Glass. Go check them out for true quality work.

As you can see, this GS300 is on air ride, which Bobby finished the night before we met up.

Bobby is an OG in Wrong Fitment Crew. Since I have known him, he has gone through a variety of cars.

Wheels tucked in like a baby.

Thank you for bromancing with me in SD, Bobby. Hope you like these pictures, I am still learning.

  • Mini Vinh

    Mini Vinh

Our good friend Syo Kuwabara from Niigata, Japan has always been making incredible scale models, either based on real-life cars or creations that are original. This time, he made one that hits us at home with this 1:24 scale model of Vinh Luong’s Subaru STi on Work CR-Kai. You can see the time and effort Kuwabara put into it to get it just right.

You probably thought this was a real car for a very brief moment.

Even down to the very kit that Vinh is on is pretty accurate!

Rear shot with the exhaust. Such beautiful work.

This 1:24 scale model even has great fitment.

Hope you guys enjoyed this scale model, because we love scale models. Thank you very much, Kuwabara, for taking the time and effort to make this and even send us the shots. I know you made this for yourself because you love it, so thank you for the love.

    WFC Venice Beach 2012

This past weekend was the Wrong Fitment Crew meet in Santa Monica/Venice Beach. It was a highly anticipated meet since many websites, blogs, and forums were promoting the event. We all planned to meet up bright and early so we could all roll deep together to the meet, but that did not happen. Some of us met in Irvine and others met in Walnut. Fortunately, I live in the Walnut area, so I thought I could wake up 10 minutes before the meet-up time & still make it. Well, that was not the brightest idea. Since I woke up late, everyone else who was caravanning with us ended up being late as well (sorry everybody), and on top of that, the fact that I have an unfunctional car did  not help. We had to take two extra freeways because I could not use the normal 10 freeway (sorry again). But, after all the hecticness, we finally arrived in Santa Monica.

We arrived around 10:30 A.M. Once we got there, our caravan was lost. There were so many cars coming from every direction, so we had to let people in between us. We waited about 15 minutes on the main street that led us to the parking lot, but we all ended up waiting for nothing because we soon found out that the parking lot was full, and the police were not letting anyone in. We somehow all managed to meet up again and parked in a parking lot across from the event.

    Raw Meat

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Vinh Luong. You guys may know me as the guy with the Red STi. I am new to this whole blog scene, so don’t be too tough on me. Over the past weekend, the good homies of Wrong Fitment Crew (WFC) threw their 2nd Annual “WFC Raw Meat BBQ”. So I decided to swing by and say whatsup to everyone.

So the morning started out cold and rainy… Not an ideal weather for BBQ’ing
