SEMA 2021 PART TWO | Event Coverage

We’re back with part two of SEMA 2021 coverage, I didn’t plan on coming back to SEMA for day 2, but I was picked up by Miguel to hang out. When he said he wanted to hang out, I didn’t think he meant at SEMA.

Coming down the escalators, we got to see the Hoonigan burnout pit in action.

This is the goodest boy at SEMA.

This is the baddest boy at SEMA, Chivas Sotelo.

Spotted Yogi out and about and Miguel looking so in love with him.

Unfunctional and low? Sign me up.

The new Type S looks pretty nice! I wish I didn’t just get the new TLX or I would’ve waited for this.

This awesome Honda S800 which is the predecessor to the Honda S2000.

I was fanboying for a moment when I realized it was owned by Daniel Wu from the Badlands. I’m really sad that they cancelled the show, it was supposed to be a modern take on the chinese saga,  “The Monkey King” series.

A classic livery on the latest Supra. Now enjoy this compilation of Supras I saw at SEMA below…

The new Corvette still had me speechless when I saw it for the second time.

It’s now a show without RWB.

This Jimny from Car Style Japan is so dope.

Rocking a never released FTP box sticker.

Jaw dropping FD that had a crowd around it every time I walked by.

Thanks for checking out this year’s SEMA coverage! Maybe, I’ll be back next year!

    Anza Borrego | RO Explore

I’ve been itching for a nice weekend camp getaway since Monache Meadows and luckily for me Angelo wanted to go to Anza Borrega to check out some new metal sculptures.

Had my roll dog Kiki going with me this time. Moscow and Julia couldn’t make it because of school.

The squad featuring a new friend Dave and his sick 4Runner.

    Found the scorpion sculpture.

    Dragon family.

Tour guide Angelo took us to see some views too.

    Yuki is afraid of heights.

    Tour guide and chef.

It wouldn’t be a trip if Dayne’s car didn’t break down.

Yup that’s a micro fiber being used as a oil cap.

You know things are going to be dusty when you can see this sticker.

Always good to see the GX out in the wild.

    Camp set up.

    The classic steak by Angelo.

    I love my setup.

Kiki was the road trip partner.

    Until next time! -NGUMINH

    Zion | RO Offroad

It hasn’t been long since some of us have fallen in love with off-roading, which really compliments our love of all things car, and exploring the world we live in. So, we decided to plan a Friday to Sunday camping and off-roading trip to Zion National Park in Utah.  With Zion National Park only 2-3 hours away from Las Vegas, Nevada, and 6-7 hours away from Southern California; it was far enough to change the scenery dramatically. The first day was just filled with getting there, and setting up camp so we could off-road till the sunsets.

  • AUTOCON LA 2014

    AUTOCON LA 2014

It’s crazy to think that the last time I was at Autocon was  3 years ago. Time flies by fast, one day you’re complaining about car shows the next day you’re helping host one. It has really changed my perspective of car shows and now I fully understand the stress and headaches of running a car show. I apologize for what I’ve said back in 2011 about this show. I was young, dumb and a wreckless keyboard warrior. Even though apologies are way too late now, I hope this picture of a sad chocolate Labrador will make up for it.

    cute-sad-puppy-face

The morning started like every other car show, early as fuck roll in. The process for check in was pretty quick and we got set up within 20 minutes of checking in.

    140

Hundreds of cars were pouring in through this gate. I hate commenting on about cars because all I can really say is what kind of car it is and what wheels it has. So, I’ll just comment here and there if I really have something interesting to say.. which is never.

    152

    153

    I want this diffuser bad.

So many Lambos at the 88 Rotors booth. That whole section was money.

  • BOOSHMA V3

    BOOSHMA V3

Sad to say, BOOSHMA V2 never came into fruition and Derek had decided to part ways with his S13 project. It was just too much work and Derek did not have any means to get around to work and school. Derek was lucky enough that Vinh hooked him up with our old friend Jimmy of Super Autobacs on a pretty clean GS300. This GS300 has alot of history with us, Vinh did his second air setup on this car and I remember drooling over this car every time I went to Super Autobacs. 6 grand later and here we have BOOSHMA V3.

  • Wagon Life

    Wagon Life

Young is no stranger to the Lexus brand. He has been through various models through the years, and it is no surprise he is also a Lexus technician.

Young chose to be apart of the wagon life as he used to have a regular is300, but always wanted the rare Sportcross model aka Altezza Gita. He really just wanted to get something he could slide around in.

The rare TRD front bumper really hits the spot.

As we took the car through the turns of this dead area, we decide it be a cool spot to shoot for a bit.

Besides all the suspension components and modifications, the Work Varianza Schwert SC2 wheels look mighty fine.

I am in love with everything Young has done to this IS300 Sportcross so far.

Being the wheel whore Young is known to be. He is already on a different set of Work Wheels. Work XT-7s.

Enjoying the rear as the California sun sets off into the distance.
