The Chronicles 10 Year Anniversary | Event Coverage

We’re back here already for our annual coverage of The Chronicle’s Year 10 anniversary! I feel like you could just scroll a couple of pages back on our site and you will have the Year 9 anniversary. Even though we’re not as active anymore, I wanted to make an effort to swing by the meet. So, I met up with Brandon, Rodney and Ashton and we cruised together to the meet.

My SC400 and Rodney’s Cressida with a new Mark II front end.

So many beautiful Hondas as always here at The Chronicle’s meet.

The owner of this S2000 came down all the way from Canada for this meet.

This bagged R8 on 305 Forged wheels really caught our eye at the meet with its intricate wrap. This R8 also made the journey from Canada!

I’m sure this Civic has a ton of mods, but the way it is put together looks effortlessly simple and clean. Great job by Battle Craft.

This Civic EG was so sick! Pandem Kit paired with a J’s Racing hood and rolling on TE-37 SLs, What a combo!

    I love Poacari Sweat.

I literally followed this CRX to check it out. My love for CRXs runs deep.

Tracked ready S2000 on Advan wheels.

On the other spectrum a bagged S2000 looking sleek.

    Spoon S2000 from Spoon USA.

We found another member for the Red or Dead crew.

Becky not knowing why she’s at a car show.

We couldn’t stay long at the meet, so most of us cruised home together. Rodney and his beaten up Cressida.

When you’re friend is in another tax bracket and you can’t follow him on the Fast Track…

Congratulations Joey on Year 10! See you in 4 pages for Year 11!

Cars and Coffee by The Chronicles | Event Coverage

Joey from The Chronicles invited us to a private little morning car meet at his shop, we thought we were pretty special until he posted the flyer for the public. Either way we were gonna come out to support and I was planning to take my own car, but found out the morning of someone tried to jack my wheels because two of my lug studs were broken off. A thief wasn’t going to deter me from attending the meet, luckily everyone had planned to meet at my house, so I was able to get a ride.

We have to start this post with Joey’s famous Mode Parfume Q45 kitted Work Meisters M1.

    Ryan’s super clean E30 on Volk TE-37s.

Usually double parking isn’t cool, but when you have a sick ass Integra, it’s cool.

This cars and coffee is a lot better than the one in South OC because all cars are welcomed and it starts at 8AM.

Red looks so good in overcast weather and it looks even better when it’s on a NSX on Mugen MF10s.

A lot of tastefully done Hondas this morning. It’s expected when you’re going to a Chronicle’s meet.

Miguel’s bran new Civic already with cut springs and baseball bat rolled fenders. #HOODRATstuff

    John’s Corvette on Forgestars.

Ashton’s Pandem E36 on his new set of customWork Meisters.

Our favorite at the meet was this TSX on Volk ZE40s. It’s just really tastefully done.

We would have loved to see John and this Supra go do some high way pulls.

Thanks Joey for the water and the good times! We hope there will be a Cars and Coffee 2!

    The Chronicles Year Six

Seems like not long ago I was writing a post for Joey’s anniversary for his website, The Chronicles. Crazy how fast time passes and now we’re almost at the end of the year waiting for the next season of Formula Drift and car show season. Good thing there are events like Joey’s Year Six and SEMA to fill the void during the winter season.

  • YEAR V

    YEAR V

Last Saturday, we celebrated Joey Lee’s fifth year of running The Chronicles. If you never heard of his site then you probably don’t know what porn is either. In which case I suggest to check out his site stickydiljoe.com and xvideos.com. I’m a big fan boy of Joey’s work because he always has really good content on his site and gets great coverage at every automotive event. So, if you love cars and need a good read after being on xvideos his site is the place to go. Vinh, Keith and I showed at Year V with some of the Vegas guys, it was pretty exciting because Vinh and Chivas who both had to rebuild their engines would be debuting their cars at Year V.

  • The Chronicles Year IV

    The Chronicles Year IV

Most of the Honda heads in our crew went out to support The Chronicles Year IV anniversary meet a couple of weeks ago.  The Chronicles is one of our favorite blogs and has been one of our  inspirations when it comes to blogging.  Honda lovers from all over the world came to the meet and so did our friends from Vegas, Chivas and Ray.

    Ray’s Type R and John Fob’s NSX.

The only good rolling shot I got out of our journey to Eibach.

Meeting up with some of the peeps from the LA area before showing up fashionably late.

    Jennifer breakin’ necks.

A rear end shot of John Fob’s NSX.

Mark and Miguel getting into the backseat of the M5 for a quickie.

Mark could totally get me in his backseat, too, with his sexy M5.

Cool IS250 on 7 Series wheels.

This 350z was looking super fresh with teal centered Equips.

     Hi Anh.

    Salem’s TSX.

Michael Johnson’s TL on VIP Modulars.

    Super tracked out Integra.

Rica, the official Royal Origin fan girl.

It was super hot during the meet, and I was trying to stay hydrated by staring at the Sunkist. Didn’t work out so well.

    RSX on TE37s! Love it!

This EG was packed full of awesome, from the engine bay to the rare Mugen seats.

Must be nice to sit on 2 grand.

Nimo’s IS300 on another set of Work 11r FT.

    Another shot of Ray’s Integra.

The Honda game was on point at this meet, especially this S2K.

Mark moving his big penis out of the way so people could get through.

One of the few fitted Honda’s in the show.

    “Babe, that’s V-TEC.”

A crowd of photographers were shooting this model, so I decided to get the shot no one ever sees. The back of a model.

    Big Mike’s Prelude. Famous!

    CANIBENOEL?

Another sick s2000 on TE-37s with a Spoon front end.

You already know what’s up with this NSX.

    Godzilla.

    IP MAN!

Sick S14 that rolled up late.

On my favorite wheels too! Weds LX-Zs.

I wanted one of these Civics when I was in high school, but my mom was afraid that I would turn out like the people in Fast and the Furious. Little does she know I became a ricer anyways…

This was a fun meet. Too bad it was blazing hot and we couldn’t hang with the heat. Next year, we’ll be more prepared and will bring a canopy and cooler of water with us.

  • Wekfest LA 2012 Part 3 (Minh)

Wekfest LA 2012 Part 3 (Minh)

Here is the last part of our 3-part coverage of Wekfest. All I can say is that it was another successful show thrown by Weksos Industries. We usually don’t go out to shows and meets because we just see the same cars over and over and over again…not hating on the people that keep on coming back, but it’s just nice to see something different for a change. With that kind of thinking, I realized I had lost my way; I forgot that I didn’t go to car shows and meets just to show the world what I have been doing with my car. I also go to hang out with my friends, meet new people, and make bigger connections. I hope I don’t forget that again in the future. I’m going to just leave you guys with some photos that I shot for all the homies and future friends of Royal Origin that attended Wekfest. Enjoy!
