Never Content in California | Event Coverage

Austin’s Never Content brand has blown up in popularity on the internet recently and to celebrate the 4 year anniversary, he decided to have a pop up shop in Venice Beach, CA. It was a three day pop up shop in a studio where he will be displaying his FD and have a ton of merchandise for sale. Herod and Vinnie were also coming down, but instead of having their cars trailered down, they decided to make a road trip out of it. Herod wanted to get some friends together before the busy weekend, so we decided to meet up for the best burger fast food joint in the world, In-N-Out.

Homies from all over came through to hang out with the Seattle guys.

    Karlo’s sick S2000.

I still can’t believe Vinnie drove his NSX down here from Seattle. Amazing commitment.

Also impressive is Herod bringing his car down.

Not impressive at all, Rodney’s Cressida.

You and the guy your girlfriend said not to worry about.

Follow heydevn on Instagram for emotional advice and emotional stances by your car.

    The number one suspect. Herod.

The next day we stopped by for the second day of Austin’s Never Content Pop Up Shop and it was busy with customers!

Never Content has a lot of quality merchandise. I had to snag a couple of shirts while I was here.

My wife loved this Naruto peeking sticker.

Never Content was giving away a set of Gram lights for those who purchased merchandise.

Austin brought down his FD for people to drool over while they shop.

    This thing is a beauty.

The Seattle homies, Herod’s BRZ and Vinnie’s NSX flexing in front of the Never Content pop up shop. It still blows my mind they drove their cars down here from Seattle and are driving it back up. 2,000 miles total to show support for their homie. That’s tight.

    Gary from Hoonigan’s R33.

Someone’s dad came inside and wanted to buy a sticker and he really wanted Austin to put it on for him. Real fan boy right here.

    Tim’s S2000 on gold Enkei RPF1s.

    Paulo’s GS some Wedsport wheels.

The pop up shop was dope! Wishing Austin good fortune and future success with Never Content. I can definitely see this brand being super successful. You can also find these photos also on the latest Stance Magazine issue! Grab one before it’s all gone!

Photoventures with Nick Schultz | Daily Life

Hooked up with my friend Nick Schutlz for a photo adventure. He needed an assistance for a photo shoot he had with this model, so I decided to tag a long to see Nick work.

We went to Corona Del Mar and he showed me some private spots that you can be alone and have the beach to yourself.

We shot Jeanie today in some swim wear. I did the best I could as a second shooter and I didn’t want to get in Nick’s way.

Overall it was a fun shoot and I got to see Nick’s techniques and thought process when he was shooting. Great stuff!

The next day we decided to go out to get some photos of our cars. This is Nick’s boosted BRZ on Gramlights 57.

My SC with just a new wing end plate and side skirts. Shout out to KBD Body Kits for the hook up!

Afterwards we went to Umami Burger and got messed up with meat.

    Perfectly melted.

Don’t get chicken wings at a burger spot.

We Found Nimo | Royal Origin Member

Spent some time with the man, the myth, the legend Celso Nimo. We got dinner at Garlic and Chives and had plans to go to Greddy for some late night wrenching.

    The man.

Some delicious food at Garlic and Chives. Shaken beef, pork toothpicks and pork belly.

Made it to Greddy just to do some product shoots real quick. Make sure you shop.royal-origin.com.

If that face doesn’t make you want to buy a hoodie, I don’t know what will.

We decided to go out to get some rollers of Nimo’s Civic since we had the man power to do it.

Cars look the best when their in motion.

We found this sick underground street to shoot at, but knowing Irvine, we got kicked out two minutes into the shoot.

    Hope you enjoyed the photos!

  • The NSX of Our Dreams | Car Feature

The NSX of Our Dreams | Car Feature

The other week, we saw John at the Eibach Throwback meet and he was telling us no one has shot his NSX yet and it’s going to be shipped to Boston to the new owner next week. I’m extremely surprised no one has gone out to shoot John’s crazy NSX before. This thing looks like a monster waiting to rip your head off. Good thing I’m unemployed because I was able to plan a shoot with John right away.

We met up in the mountains of Moreno Valley for some scenic shoots. The NSX looks and sounds like a beast!

Yo dawg! I heard you like vents, so we put vents on your hood, fender and in your ear, so you can vent to me about your daily problems.

    That diffuser is insane!

Thank God for the over cast, it made for better photos.

I think I’ve decided to make this one of my goals in life. I will own a NSX.

The Work Meisters look perfect on the NSX.

It’s been a while since I’ve taken rolling shots, so excuse the bad photography.

John’s NSX made up for my bad photography.

This car is such a head turner that everyone at the gas station was breaking their necks and taking photos.

Thanks John for giving me the opportunity to shoot your car! I hope the photos are good! Also to the person who owns the NSX now, you are one lucky guy. Please take care of her.

Paint The Town Red | Daily Life

It’s been a while since we’ve done anything related to cars, so this night was especially exciting because we didn’t carpool to meet up. Everyone actually brought their cars out just like the good old days and it was awesome. The idea for the shoot was just to get all the red cars together for a video, but we got side tracked and ended up making a rap music video which you can find on our Instagram @royalorigin.

My SC next to Brendan’s classic Supra.

    Red or dead.

Brendan checking out Ashton’s recently finished Pandem E36.

The Supra is still looking good as it did 8 years ago in the lair.

Not red, but Keith brought out his nostalgic Accord.

John’s Corvette which sounds like a beast ever since it got a cam install.

A surprise visit, Phat brought out the Cayman. He got an oil change just to bring it out tonight.

Red never looked so good. Thank God Ashton didn’t stick with the blue.

You already know the plug’s vehicle, Rodney’s Cressida.

Man this photo is so cool. I wish I brought a tripod so I didn’t have to shoot with such high ISO.

Got some shots in with the 135mm, but people were already leaving, so I didn’t get that many photos of their cars.

Derek’s Cressida, twinning with Rodney but it looks alot better because of the black trim.

    Brandon’s never finished IS300.

Shout out to everyone who came out tonight! It was good hanging and we should definitely do it more often!

  • The Throwback at Eibach Springs | Event Coverage

The Throwback at Eibach Springs | Event Coverage

If there was ever a time to throw some 90’s R&B and go for a cruise, it would be for an event like The Throwback at Eibach. This meet was a pre 2000’s import car meet, where you can get your 90’s nostalgia feel going on. Some of the homies were attending and we happened to all have some old ass cars. Also check out our very first vlog here!

Met up with the squad early in the morning for some McDonalds and so we could cruise into the meet together.

I got the SC put back together for the meet.

This is Derek’s Cressida that was recently wrapped by Rodney.

Nimo brought out the wagon to try to get into the meet.

Rodney brought out his homie’s R33.

The day before I got a little crazy with some stickers for the SC…

We got there pretty early and there were already some premium cars.

This is what I would want my SC to be, Vertex and some TE-37s.

Some sick Mazdas rolling in early.

First time seeing a BN Sports kitted Cressida in person and I must say it looks damn good.

It aint the 90’s without the Hondas.

Some clean 240’s to complete the 90’s era feel.

In the blazing hot sun of Corona, CA we have this super hot FD on Advans RZ.

We left in the middle of the meet to go eat sushi, good thing Nimo’s BMW got denied entry because it wasn’t an “import”.

A rare sighting of what once was.

When we got back to the meet, it was almost empty, but the red cars in the middle still stood.

John brought out the NSX to it’s last meet before it gets shipped out to the new owner in Boston. We’ll have a full feature coming soon..

Not a pre-2000 car, but still awesome as hell to see.

    Sleeping beauty Ardy.

    The gang’s all here.

Shout out to my car for not breaking down today. You’re the real MVP. Also a big thanks to John for fixing my windows!!

  • Tuner EVO SoCal 2018 | Event Coverage

Tuner EVO SoCal 2018 | Event Coverage

One of the great things about living in Southern California and being an automotive enthusiasts is that there is always something car related to do every weekend. This weekend Abbitt hit us up to go check out Tuner Evolution which originated from the east coast. It was their first show in SoCal, so we wanted to see the difference between an east coast show and a west coast show.

Tune Evo was held at the famed Anaheim Convention Center. The parking is expensive and the workers suck here.

First thing we saw was this wide FRS on some equally wide 326 Power wheels.

This BN Sport S14 was my favorite car out of the whole show. Execution is flawless and you know I love red cars.

You already know it’s a new age car show when they have the RC drift car track set up.

Feeling this aggressive Subaru on Cosmis Racing wheels.

The rarest car at the show and in pristine condition is this Nissan Skyline Hakosuka. Nissan had so much style back then.

Spotted! You can get it here at shop.royal-origin.com.

Tuner Evo is known for having a mini concert at their shows. Xavier Wulf would be performing later on today.

So many things were going at this event like this break dancing competition which was pretty wild.

Loving the livery on this S2000.

Awesome mom starting the love for cars for her child early.

Karuma holding it down at Tuner Evo. Make sure you swing by ujidistribution.com for some gear!

That’s the rear end of my car!

    Anthony’s GS on Konig Monsters.

Love! love! The paint on this Miata and with such an aggressive aero setup to compliment the Work Meisters. Awesome execution.

Showing off the air jack and his big brake set up.

I’m surprised with all of this attention to detail, the owner of this car didn’t bedazzle the jack stands too.

Wow Tuner Evo even had a BMX competition going on..

    Wow.

Some things never change. Steve’s LS400 looking as good as always.

Tuner Evo is definitely a show to check out with the sick cars and various events going on. Non stop entertainment and a ton of sick cars. Hopefully I’ll be able to check out their east coast car shows one day.

Also wanted to post this photo of my wonderful meal after the Tuner Evo show. This is the shaken beef fries at Vox Kitchen. Until next time peeps!

  • Supreme Dreams with Becky | Model Shoots

Supreme Dreams with Becky | Model Shoots

We got together with Becky for a photo shoot, she wanted to show off some of her new Supreme pick ups and I wanted to see if I was still a good photographer. The sun was already setting before we got to our location, so we just pulled over at a park and improvised. We managed to squeezed some of these shots in. Check it out!

Despite the rush and fading light, there was something magic about the spontaneity of the moment. Becky styled her Supreme pieces effortlessly, mixing bold streetwear with a natural, confident presence in front of the camera while she also sport a favre watch, which is easy to maintain thanks to a favre leuba watch service. You can also visit the trusted Omega watch repair and maintenance services to ensure your timepiece stays in perfect condition. To get helpful tips on which luxury watches suit your style, you may read articles from a Luxury watch blog.

The combination of the golden hour glow and her energy brought an unexpected warmth to the shots—proof that sometimes, the best sessions come from unplanned moments.

As for me, picking up the camera again after a long break felt like coming home. I was rusty at first, but each frame brought back the rhythm. The quiet setting of the park gave us room to experiment and laugh through the process. This shoot reminded me that photography isn’t just about the gear or the location—it’s about trust, creativity, and the people who bring your lens to life.

Becky in the Supreme x Nas collab and rocking the Supreme Louie Vuitton bag.

    Lavish.

After the sun set, Vu setup his lights in my house and it really set the mood for a trap music video.

    Supreme rules everything around me.

We wrapped up the shoot and felt hungry, Becky recommended us to go to Vox Kitchen for dinner and it was bomb! They have shaken beef fries, garlic noodles and delicious steak.

A definite must try if you’re in the Fountain Valley area!

  • SPOCOM 2017 | EVENT COVERAGE

    SPOCOM 2017 | EVENT COVERAGE

Some photos I took of the past Spocom show in Anaheim. I wasn’t planning to attend the show, but Phat had some extra tickets and we happened to finish eating dinner in the area. We arrived right before they were announcing awards, so I was able to get some pretty sweet photos with little to no by standers in the way.

Clean Porsche bagged on OZ Futuras.

Phat’s Cayman stuntin at the Braum booth.

You already know what it is, IDL Design with that money line up. Starting with Jerald’s Rocket Bunny RC350.

You already know the original internet breaker, Noel’s Varis FRS.

Mikey’s famous Old & New Porsche.

Joey’s freshly painted Q45. Looking real classy.

How do I get into the bail business?

One of the sickest FD’s out right now. I didn’t know so much awesomeness could be packed into one car.

All my favorite shades of red.

RYWire Integra, Spoon USA Civic and Evasive Motor Sports S2000. All looking real good.

Toyo Tires always has the coolest cars at shows.

Pandem E36 on BBS LM wheels.

    John Fob’s amazing NSX.

The craziest car at Spocom in my opinion would be this E36 with a GTR engine swap.

It’s been a while since John and Henry went to a car event, here they are looking hella confused.

Two completely different styles, both on AIR LIFT.

    Wow.

The best part of a car show is the roll out. Glad we got to see it on the way out.

Ending it with the Central Pine Q45 scrapping in front of my Elantra. Hope you enjoyed the photos, thanks for visiting.

    Adulting | Daily Life

Lately, I feel like I don’t have time to do shit because I’ve been remodeling my house. Go to work and then work that second shift when I come home to finish a part of the house, so I can still live in it. On top of that I didn’t realize how much debt I would be in just remodeling some parts of my house. Fuck this adult life.

    Privacy fence for the SC.

Kiki is loving the new fence we put up.

Soon to be 5 spoke Lexus gang…

    The Lexues of my life.

Went out with Vu and Shavi to shoot my SC, I’ve always wanted a video by Vu for one of my cars and this seemed like a good time to shoot the SC before it gets trashed.

    A good dinner before work.

    Vu working his magic.

Does it get better than this? I hope so.

    Kiki excited for the video.

Thanks Vu for the lit video! Literally family.
