Washington Part Three | RO Explore

Another morning, another adventure, this time we were going to explore the nature side of Washington and get in touch with the beauty of mother nature. We wanted to check out the ice caves today and go for a small hike.

This little kid wanted to go inside the caves so bad, but his mom didn’t let him. Apparently some one died here a week before when the ice came loose and hit him in the head.

Met up with Henderson and he took us to Alki to try Marination Makai. They had lots of interesting food like this kimchi fried rice with pork. It was delicious.

Thank you to everyone from Super Kawaii for the hospitality especially Justin, Vickie and Long! Also a big thanks to Henderson for driving us to cool food spots and to see amazing sun sets. Yoshi aka Mike for keeping us company and always having a car there to shoot. We’ll see you guys in April!!

  • San Francisco

    San Francisco

Hello all Royal Origin readers! My name is James Baxter and I’m happy to be coming aboard as one of Royal Origin’s newest bloggers. I am based out of Southern California and like to shoot portraits, automotive, and cityscapes. While those may be my areas of focus I shoot anything that catches my eye really; never leave your camera behind! I have been shooting for a little over a year now and I love it more and more with each passing day. I can’t wait to bring everyone more content for you all to enjoy! In the mean time, I leave with you this, my first trip of the year, San Francisco!

I told myself at the beginning of the year that I was going to travel more in 2015 and I made sure my first spot was going to be in one of my favorite cities, San Francisco.

    Royal Origin 2

I did not get wet taking this photo somehow.

    Royal Origin 5

On the first day I got to San Francisco it was raining really hard, so at the first sign of day break I went out and started exploring.

    Royal Origin 8

After hanging around the Golden Gate Bridge for a while and the surrounding area I decided to cross the bridge to venture into the woods.

    Royal Origin

Muir Woods Nation Forest is awesome and I recommend it to anyone who’s going to be in San Francisco.

    Royal Origin 9

Its about a two hour long hike if you do the whole trial but its totally worth it.

    Royal Origin 7

Muir Woods is just such a pretty peaceful pace, definitely a nice escape from the rush of Los Angeles.

    Royal Origin 6

On the way back over the bridge I decided to take some more pictures and wait until sundown.

    Royal Origin 3

It was getting really foggy the later it got, and thats actually a Cruise Ship going under the bridge.

    Royal Origin 4

San Francisco is an awesome city, unfortunately I went right in the middle of a huge storm and didn’t get to walk around much. That being said I’ll definitely be visiting again very soon. But San Francisco is just one of the many stops I’ll be taking this year and I can’t wait to share it all with you and bring you all more photos.

    Tra House | Food Adventures

Tra House has come a long way since it opened back in 2012. It use to be strictly a boba shop and then out of no where evolved into a full blown restaurant. Tra House is known for making Vietnamese dishes with a little twist to it, so if you’re a Vietnamese food fanatic and you eat here you’re going to be mind blown.

    885

This is my favorite photo ever.

    858

Garlic shrimp noodles. Pretty basic, but the shrimp was on point. I just wanted some dry noodles to eat.

    860

Chicken vermicelli with egg rolls. Can’t go wrong with this combination.

    863882

When Vietnamese people think meat with baguette bread, they automatically think of banh mi sandwiches. When ordering this dish we did not expect it to come out like a pizza. Pretty good.

    884887

Crispy rice with Chinese sausages. We were expecting a bowl of fried rice with sausages. This was a pleasant surprise and also good.

    892

Bo Ne. A slap of steak with tater tots and a fried egg. Taste delicious.

Great place to have dinner and the place has a nice vibe to it. Also the drinks here are really good too. Try the New Yorker.

  • Video Timeline 2012

I recently decided to compile all my footage from 2012 into a timeline video. While I was doing this, I thought it was cool that I took the time and effort to create a video nearly every month of the year. Great way to learn from my mistakes and improve; at least I hope I am improving. In the end, I do this for fun as an additional hobby to my obsession with cars. I hope you guys enjoy a look into my 2012.

    Lifestyle shit

Spent the day with Ky and Charles doing some lifestyle shit. Oh, you know, just your average, buying cigars, building $3,000 dollar rims and using a Audi A6 as a delivery car for wheels. Everyday lifestyle shit.

    Run for the Hills.

Went to LA with David and Jeff, just for a sandwich. But it’s not just any sandwich, it’s CAPRIOTTIS! We were introduced to this sandwich by Chivas in Vegas. Love the sandwich so much that every time we are in Vegas, we have to go get some. I usually get a 20” Capastrami and David usually gets the Bobbie. I’ll show you what it is in a moment. We took out the swag Camry because bitches love the Camry. When we parked, we realized that his car was the cheapest car on the whole block. We were in the city of BMWs and Lambos, where Lexus IS 250s were seen more than Honda Civics.

This is a multi-directional cross walk. We were so amazed by it that we went through it twice.
