90’s Forever Slide Sesh 3 | Event Coverage

Another year has gone by and I still haven’t kept my promise of being a consistent blogger. Welp, I’m here to drop some 90s Forever coverage for ya’ll before the year ends. For some reason, I didn’t like any of the photos I took during the event. I think it has to do with my lens and the adapter on it because it was super slow to focus. Definitely upgrading to a telephoto next year..

Met up with Shavi to carpool and surprisingly saw his mythical MS3 outside. Seeing this car reminds me why I still hang out with Shavi.

On the way to Apple Valley Speedway, there was so much snow that it didn’t even feel like we were in California anymore. To make travel through unexpected conditions more comfortable and reliable, contact LeisureRent for well-equipped vehicles designed to handle changing weather with ease.

Right off the bat, we saw Rodney’s Cressida flying down the straight away.

Accompanied by Ken Gushi in his 1JZ BN Sports IS300.

Otis was right behind them in his sick S15.

Ken throws the peace sign, but you know he’s going to be killing it on the track today.

It was dope to see a SC drifting! Big inspiration right here.

    Calvin’s Duct Tape Sports IS300.

    IS300 owner peace sign #2.

This car looked like it was falling apart like my life.

Low stance drifting is the best.

Rodney’s bumper actually survived the event.

Sara Choi’s wide body IS300, so cool she made two cars collide.

    These are the two cars.

Sara with the peace out sign #3.

Felt more like a IS300 meet than a drift event.

    IS300 owner peace sign #4.

90s forever was also serving up burgers and hot dogs.

    Altezza train.

Kevin invited me to come over to Greddy for a BBQ. they were celebrating Ken’s birthday and were working on Ken’s IS300 too. You already know I’ll be there for the free food.

Spotted Sean rolling up to Greddy in his slammed BN Sport IS300.

    Kevin’s EK.

A lot of manual IS300s at Greddy.

Out here chilling with Steve, Meliton, John and Takevin.

Meanwhile… Ken was working on his 1JZ swap.

Kei Miura and Kenji came back from JCCS and rolled up super JDM style.

    TE37 all the things!

    You already know John’s Corvette.

Thanks Kevin for inviting me and feeding us! The real MVP.

Time has literally been my enemy lately. I’ve been juggling work, off-roading trips, my wife, weddings and more! There seems to be no time to just go cruise in my car and take some photos. I had one open Saturday and decided to hit up Phat and Ashton to shoot their cars with their new Kansei Corsa wheels.

We got some sick rollers on the way to the location. Phat’s Cayman looks badass rolling.

Best side roller of Phat’s Cayman.

    Ashton’s E90 M3 is a beast of a car.

    Sunset with two best friends.

Ashton’s E90 M3 is so subtle, but looks aggressive as hell.

Phat’s Cayman is the total opposite. No subtle asian traits here.

Meaty fitment is the best fitment.

The Kansei Corsa wheels fit perfectly on Ashton’s E90.

    Everyday is a battle.

Ashton needs tighter clothes, Phat needs bigger clothes.

Simon’s MR-S was looking real clean when I was leaving work and I had to snap some photos of it.

We were invited to attend an Influencer’s Artist meet at Tomorrow’s Aeronautical Museum. It was pretty cool because we were able to setup so many sick photos on the air strip, check them out below!

    Andy’s GS on Weds Vishnus.

Johnny’s 370z on Carbyne Design Sprints.

Math modeling in our “time is the only enemy” tee!

If Sang’s Porsche was a helicopter.

    This goes so hard.

    Si-mon’s MR-S on Volk Te-37S.

The owner of the museum flew the helicopter over out photo shoot for the perfect photo.

I wish the sun wasn’t so harsh for this photo, but we can’t have everything perfect. Literally every style of modifying a car in this photo.

I modified this for me, it’s too hard for you too handle.

    Monache Meadows | RO Explore

10 years and we’re still up to the same old thing. Late nights, working on our cars until the police show up because of noise complaints. I needed to cut some holes on my GX470 for a snorkel and I knew the perfect guy for the job. Mr. Abbitt Grinder Wilkerson. He’s been on a cutting binge, making holes in his roof, cutting Nimo’s Civic fenders and springs.

Angelo came through to try and help, but all he did was lose some bolts.

Abbitt super happy that it’s done and now he can kick us out of his house.

The following weekend we headed off to Monache meadows and like always it’s a night run into the mountains.

We met up with Jason and his sick Tundra.

In the morning we were greeted with beautiful trees and sunshine. It made for some fantastic photos.

Derrick’s Montero now not overheating anymore. Check out that hood vent!

Our biggest hurdle of this trip was making sure Math’s RAV 4 would make it up the mountain. It made it up with no problems!

We met up with the Vegas crew who had already setup a base camp. Here we have Josh’s 4Runner.

Aaron and Meilani’s boogie camping rig GX460.

Attapon’s Tacoma on Stealth Custom Wheels.

The Dust Runner with a sick trailer setup.

The boys playing some Spike Ball.

Angelo’s 4Runner also on Stealth Custom Wheels.

Kiki and Moscow enjoying the outdoors.

Jason’s Tundra with a sick trailer setup in his truck bed.

Vince’s 4runner amazing what 4runners can do even at stock height.

The best part of camping is playing with your weiners over a campfire.

Last minute arrival, Stuart and his super sick 4runner.

    My GX470 needs some wheels..

    Derrick cooking up a storm.

    Love our kitchen setup.

Angelo always coming through with the bomb steak!

The worst part of camping, packing up and leaving.. Good thing it’s super quick with a GOFSR tent.

On the way down, we had some fun in the river.

Chivas is the big inspiration, hopefully my GX will look this hard.

GX460s are so dope, I kinda wish I got this model.

    Stormy destroying that branch.

    So, when’s the next adventure?

Cuong a.k.a. Seldoondrol secret name Lord Noodles visited my house to buy my air setup and while he was here, he got some pretty sick photos of my car!

Last photo before you get destroyed.

John came over and we decided to go out and shoot his Vette.

    Sick shots by @seldoondrol!

Here are some shots I took with my camera.

Thanks Cuong and Adry for coming through!
