    A Day in the Bay

The day before Wekfest, we decided to venture around San Francisco city. We journeyed into the city looking for some good food. We also decided to act like tourist and take pictures of everything. Our initial plan was to get some Sushirrito (a sushi burrito) , unfortunately they are closed on the weekends. We were “hella” bummed out.

We ended eating at a random Tri-tip joint, which was pretty good.

  • The Night Ends.

    The Night Ends.

It has been awhile since some of us have seen each other and been able to hangout. So, we decided to go to our old familiar hang out spots to just hang out like the good old days. This familiar place is called “The Lair.” Why? Because this is the place we would always end our night of doing hoodrat stuff together. It is an awesome place to be and the lighting there is quite interesting; always get some memorable shots.

A quick video filmed and edited by Shavi W. of what the Lair is about. Friends and good times.

Three perfect examples of the good-side of the Honda community, which we all hear negative things all the times, whether it is the driver or the car itself.

More Than Cars: Family Time is the Best Time

Lets put all the good looking cars aside for a moment and talk about something more than the machines we drive. Behind every car is an individual. They say: that what one chooses to do to their car is a reflection of themselves. In that case, I guess every VIP guy is fat and wears a suit, all the statically slammed guys only wear clothes from the Illest/Fatlace Boutique, and every “functional” guy can recite an Initial D episode word-for-word. All stereotypes and lame jokes aside, its amazing how these cars we modify, whichever style it may portray, can bring us individuals together to have good times and memories.

The night before Autocon, we had a Pre-Christmas party at Garage NGUASS. Well, it was more of a last minute “i still got stuff to put on my car” garage night, but we still managed to get some good bonding time. Royal Origin mom, Jennifer, had organized a pot-luck and Secret Santa gift exchange for us and of course it finished off with some Team NguApex (Minh & myself) beer pong ownage.

    Halloween

Getting into the spirit of Halloween, David, Neel, and myself decided to visit our local pumpkin patch and carve some pumpkins. This is pretty much our first time carving a pumpkin, which turned out easier than we thought. We ended up getting two pumpkins; one small and one large one. We decided to trace Royal Origin onto both by David making some vinyl templates so we can trace and carve in quite precise lettering onto the pumpkins. Nevertheless, here is some photos and video of how we had a blast carving up two pumpkins with friends.

David scooping out the inside seeds, which were later used to make baked pumpkin seeds. Delicious.
