2019 Auto Enthusiast Day presented by Nitto Tire | Event Coverage

I’m in a mentorship program for kids at risk and thought it would be a good idea to take my mentee out to a car show. Good thing Auto Enthusiast Day was around and close to where my mentee lives, so we were able to go and check out the show.

I saw the Moonlight Runners cars at Toyota Fest, but it still amazes me when I see their cars.

My mentee Angel recognized this car right away. He asked if Brian O’Conner was here, I didn’t want to break the news to him..

The new Camry’s are looking pretty damn good.

Angel was really digging these headlights on this FRS.

    Ojay’s old LS430?

This Accord ended up being Angel’s favorite car at the show.

The boys over at Karuma had a booth and their booth car was Adry’s Lexus IS350.

Just missing spoiler, tail lights and diffuser…

Meliton on the gram while someone works on his car. Must be nice.

This BMW wagon looks perfect on Kansei KNP Wheels.

This Toyota Corolla livery looks so sick.

Max Power’s old S14. Crazy this thing used to be parked at Illest OC all the time.

A last shot of my IS250 before everything is taken apart…

Overall Angel enjoyed the show, he just thought it was boring the demo cars were just driving in circles. Kids these days…

Auto Enthusiast Day | Nitto Tires

When is the heart going to die down? I swear my weekends have been filled with sweat drenched t-shirts and peculiar moistness on the underside of my sack. Even with all of this ridiculous heat, we braved Auto Enthusiast day from 9AM-7PM and what impressed us the most was the amount of spectators and car show attendees who also stayed the whole day, that’s some dedication. Auto Enthusiast Day presented by Nitto Tire is a great event to attend because it includes a car show, a vast amount of vendors, drift demonstrations from your favorite Formula Drift drivers and it’s all free. DSC05696   I wasn’t brave enough to leave our booth until 6pm and with the show ending at 7pm, I thought it would be a good idea to shoot at this time. Sadly, at 5pm they were already letting people leave the show, so I wasn’t able to take photos of all the cars that were in attendance.  Enjoy the photos! DSC05701  DSC05702  DSC05704  Miata slam.DSC05705

    Auto Enthusiast Day

Sunny days in southern California means another car show weekend. Nitto Tire in collaboration with Formula Drift hosted a Auto Enthusiast day car show for free. That’s right, FREE 99. Car show participants just had to register to be in the car show, vendors only needed to donate a prize for the raffle and attendees just had to pay for parking. They also had a drift demonstration with some of the best Formula Drift drivers such as Matt Fields, Vaughn Gittin Jr. and Matt Powers. Attendees only had to sign up for a free raffle that could win many vendor prizes and a ride along in the drift demo.
