Another morning, another adventure, this time we were going to explore the nature side of Washington and get in touch with the beauty of mother nature. We wanted to check out the ice caves today and go for a small hike.

We finally arrived at the ice caves and we were in shock and awe of how huge this cave was.
This little kid wanted to go inside the caves so bad, but his mom didn’t let him. Apparently some one died here a week before when the ice came loose and hit him in the head.

After getting some cool photos (pun intended), I got out of there asap.
The walk back was surprisingly fast and with the sun coming down more, it was less harsh for photos.

Met up with Henderson and he took us to Alki to try Marination Makai. They had lots of interesting food like this kimchi fried rice with pork. It was delicious.

The next morning, we met up with Vickie and Long to check out Pike Public Market. Lots of energy going on in this market for how early it was.

Finally got to try some Seattle’s best seafood and it did not disappoint! This is the seafood bisque and the captain’s roll.

It’s never a dull moment when we’re out and about even when it’s just for an ice cream run. Becky tagged along with us and even though she think she’s not model material we thought it would be cool to shoot her in the alley of down town Orange.
We haven’t really brought our cars out to play lately, so it was cool to have a car to shoot in this area.

When I was uploading photos from my previous photo shoot with Edris, I realized I had a bunch of photos that I forgot to edit and upload.
Abbitt came through my work to visit and we decided to test out my new lens filter on his car.

Another set I forgot to post up was my visit to Agenda 2014. As we move on to push the HOODRATstuff brand it meant moving out of my comfort zone of car shows to a different type of show that would help network with some of the players in the street wear industry.
Long Beach convention center, I remember having to go here for community service conventions when I was in Key Club. Crazy how things turn full circle.

My favorite part of Agenda is seeing the creative booth set ups.

That wrap’s up our mini coverage of the Agenda show, sucks I couldn’t take photos of the cool products that some of the companies are coming out with, but hey you’ll be seeing them soon in stores. Now I just gotta make it so someone else is blogging about HOODRATstuff.
Starting a brand has it’s challenges, we’ve been working on making the HOODRATstuff brand stand on it’s own feet and have it’s own following. One of the challenges we’ve been working with is having a $0 budget when it comes to product shoots and doing look books. Not having a male model has been tough too, but thankfully we have friends that support us and are willing to model even though they’ve never modeled in their life. Shout out to the homie Edris for shooting with us. You don’t know how we do HOODRATstuff until you’ve been to a shoot with us.

I just did some experimenting with these photos some I really liked, but I wanted the whole photo shoot to be uniformed so these colors were not in the final set.
This random wood door made for a great back drop. Doing HOODRATstuff doesn’t always mean doing something ghetto it just means being creative and improvising.
Edris just recently bought a 1998 Mercedes S500 and man this was the perfect fit for our shoot. This car is seriously ahead of it’s time with the technology and design.
