Super Kawaii Hangs | Out of Towners

The best part of Formula Drift is having out of town people come to visit. Every year I seemed to be hanging out with people from the north either Seattle or The Bay. This year the Super Kawaii crew came down to hang and get fat with us.

Finally grew up and got some real wheels.

The first place I took them was 4th street market, but first let me take a carelfie(car selfie) because I got some prime parking in front.

    My god..

    031

Everything came with an egg on top.

    034

Food buddies. Ended the night with some ice cream and basketball, no photos because I forgot my camera.

    244

The next morning, Hayle hit me up to eat because she was hungry and she knows that I’m always hungry. She brought out the new bae to go eat with us.

    242

We went to Anepalco cafe which has the best Mexican breakfast. Pictured here is the chipotle crepe with a nice cheese potato soup.

    243

Hayle got the Chilaquiles with pork which I didn’t know you could add meat to this dish.

    245

    Delicious..

    246

    247

Paying for it is cool too. I don’t mind putting my card in this pink box.

    250

Next we went to Chunk N Chip for some ice cream sandwiches. I got red velvet cookies and white chocolate ice cream. I really loved the colors this sandwich was giving me, so i couldn’t stop taking photos of it.

Later in the day, I helped out Marq with some product photo shoots. No photos of that but here’s Marq’s M3 which he is trying to sell.

    295

We had shabu afterwards at Shabu Shabu bar.

    297

I’m not sure why I even go to shabu places, I never get full for some reason.

Anyways we got new lanyards! Get em here..

Another morning, another adventure, this time we were going to explore the nature side of Washington and get in touch with the beauty of mother nature. We wanted to check out the ice caves today and go for a small hike.

This little kid wanted to go inside the caves so bad, but his mom didn’t let him. Apparently some one died here a week before when the ice came loose and hit him in the head.

    Abbitt is crazy.

    seattle 781

Met up with Henderson and he took us to Alki to try Marination Makai. They had lots of interesting food like this kimchi fried rice with pork. It was delicious.

    seattle 887

Long enjoying his sea food bisque and Vickie is on a diet.

    seattle 889

Next spot would be Bleecher’s cheese shop.

    seattle 908

A visit to the friendly neighborhood troll.

    seattle 909

    seattle 915

Gelatiamo would be the last dessert shop we visited, also very delicious. Water based too, so I didn’t get the shits afterwards.

    Scan0001

Thank you to everyone from Super Kawaii for the hospitality especially Justin, Vickie and Long! Also a big thanks to Henderson for driving us to cool food spots and to see amazing sun sets. Yoshi aka Mike for keeping us company and always having a car there to shoot. We’ll see you guys in April!!

Waking up to the cold brisk air of Washington was something unfamiliar. The air was so crisp and I woke up freezing my ass of because I didn’t know there were extra blankets under my bed. Besides the near hypothermia incident, today was going to be a day filled with exploring the city and stopping by some local shops.
    seattle 349

Felt good to walk outside to a natural setting with trees giving us that fresh air.

    seattle 357

Thank you to Rick Wilkerson for cooking us some bomb french toast croissants! A look inside the Wilkerson’s residence.

    seattle 350

Yoshi met us up early to go get some coffee at Garage Autohero.

    seattle 352

Posted outside of the Wilkerson’s home was pretty surreal. We always saw photos of Abbitt’s Subarus posted up in front of this wooden home, but never really thought we would ever be here. Life’s a trip.

    seattle 364

Garage Auto Hero had so many projects going on, it must be difficult to keep track of it all.

So many cool things going on in this shop.

    seattle 374

What the Milpitas boys have been wanting to do the whole trip was to visit a recreational clinic, so we stopped by the local Kush Mart. I didn’t bring my camera in because I wasn’t sure what the rules were, but it was like going into buy some alcohol or candy.

    seattle 390

Met up with the locals at Skillet for some breakfast. They’re known for their grilled cheese with bacon jam and chicken. The poutine fries here are bomb as well.

    seattle 397

    seattle 399

Artery clogger for sure, but worth it!

    seattle 405

Next door to Skillet was an ice cream shop called Parfait.

    seattle 409

Decent ice cream, super slow service because there was only one worker and the people in front of me wanted to try each flavor twice.

    seattle 416

Vickie handing us some goodies. Thanks Justin and Vickie!

Love the city vibes in Seattle.

    seattle 484

It’s awesome that the streets in the city are safe for slammed cars.

    seattle 489

We had a big crowd joining us today.

    seattle 490

Mike and Clinton really enjoying paying for parking.

    seattle 494

    seattle 498

    seattle 504

Not what I expected from the best ice cream Seattle had to offer. Tried to give it to a homeless person and they didn’t even want it.

Everyone enjoying their basic ice cream. Just kidding… haha or am I?

    seattle 577

    seattle 582

Taylor’s Mazda is fun to look at it as well. Got a lot of cool photos of this car because of the paint.
