    The Return of Celso Nimo

So our friend Nimo decided to bring his Accord back from the dead. He decided to debut it on the day of the University of Irvine car show.

The morning started off pretty early. The plan was to meet at Minh’s house around 9:30, but like usual everyone was running late. Even Minh was running late and he lived there!

The show started at 10 o’clock, but we did not mind, because we knew we would be showing up fashionably late. Once I arrived I immediately started shooting.

The first car I shot was Jimmy’s Civic always breaks my neck, especially because of it’s crazy negative camber.

Its JDM Yo x Royal Origin – You Think You Can Stance?

“Are you so low that it takes an hour to angle up that slightly inclined driveway that even my 90 year old grandfather can wheel chair up by himself? Do you think you have the best technique and style for getting up that fucked up driveway? Then prove it!”

At the first ever Its JDM Yo – You Think You Can Stance? competition a variety of vehicles came to check it out and accept the challenge.

More Than Cars: Family Time is the Best Time

Lets put all the good looking cars aside for a moment and talk about something more than the machines we drive. Behind every car is an individual. They say: that what one chooses to do to their car is a reflection of themselves. In that case, I guess every VIP guy is fat and wears a suit, all the statically slammed guys only wear clothes from the Illest/Fatlace Boutique, and every “functional” guy can recite an Initial D episode word-for-word. All stereotypes and lame jokes aside, its amazing how these cars we modify, whichever style it may portray, can bring us individuals together to have good times and memories.

The night before Autocon, we had a Pre-Christmas party at Garage NGUASS. Well, it was more of a last minute “i still got stuff to put on my car” garage night, but we still managed to get some good bonding time. Royal Origin mom, Jennifer, had organized a pot-luck and Secret Santa gift exchange for us and of course it finished off with some Team NguApex (Minh & myself) beer pong ownage.

    Autocon Collaboration 2011

This year’s Autocon 2011 in Irvine, California was a huge success with over 4,000 attendees, 450 cars, 30 vendors, 15 food trucks, and many models who came out that day. We would like to take the time to thank everyone on the Autocon staff that helped put this event together. Even though, the focal point are these cars at the event, it is mainly about the donations and donated toys that this event was able to accumulate for the less fortune for the holiday season.

    Royal Origin & CO

Here is my video coverage of the Canibeat and Royal Origin collaboration. Over 30 cars met up very early in the morning; we were even able to see the very last lunar eclipse of the year at the same time! Then drove down together as a group to roll in and organize at the show. Once again it was good meeting all our old and new friends to enjoy the day together, even if it was a very long day at that. This was an excellent way to end the year, before the show season starts up again in 2012.
